Unfortunately it's not as clever as that...he's salty that Kev kicked him off the coaching staff and has taken every opportunity to shit on the club ever since.
You'd like to think, though, as a club great (which he will always be despite his attitude towards it), somewhere in there he's proud and happy to see them doing well again.

Man, I am so indecisive about going to this.
Now considering booking a room for Friday a d Saturday night. Drive up on Friday, then drive back immediately after the game on Saturday. I think that might be too crazy though.

Yea I was thinking the same thing from Canberra. Been looking at flights/trains/etc. But my wife has indirectly vetoed the idea (probably the smart thing). Will just have to wait for the grand final.

Heading home on the Saturday why? Work the next day I take it? Newcastle is about 9hrs or so right...you'd be wrecked for work regardless. Better to stay the Saturday night and leave super early Sunday morning I'd say.

Yeah I'm on the fence too, although it's a bit easier for me because I'll have holidays at the time and I can just stay at my uncles place walking distance from the stadium, only issue is I got huge bills to pay just before it.

We did beat the warriors in NZ without Haas, Carrigan & Walsh however.
That was a pretty tough. Despite the win though, we were pretty horrid that night. This current Broncos side would absolutely kill that Broncos side. We've gone up a couple of levels since.
Only way we lose the Preliminary Final is if we play our worst performance and we beat ourselves.

There has only been one game this year we haven’t really been in and that was months ago. The resolve our side has has been totally misses by the talking heads.

Work at 3pm the next day. 9hr shift at Sunday rates so I don't really want to miss it haha. It's a good shift though, not a lot of driving involved, so I should be alright on minimal sleep. Plus, I'm used to having **** all sleep.
I would rather leave right after the game to have a clear run, then have a sleep when I get home. Leave later and I risk getting caught up with all the gronks crashing their caravans and shit like that.
