No Max Plath either.

Mam, Arthars, Riki & Cobbo will be out of next week's game as well so I'm sure Mariner and Piakura will back up for those games. Both Mozer and Willison aren't due back until Round 1 either, so that explains why neither are playing in this trial.

I'm surprised Coburn wasn't named. Is he carrying an injury?

Can’t play for a few weeks.

Would be interesting to see how Smoothy and Sailor work, Outside Piakura I suspect those are the players that will get the most playing time during the year.

Still confused how Smoothy isn't in our top 30 though, he was Qcup player of the year(anyone who gets that is easily Top 30 first grade quality), yet Mozer who has only had a handful of games off the bench is ahead of him(likely to give him a pro contract to secure him for the future as he has high potential but still, I see Smoothy as the obvious replacement in the first half of the season to any Hooker injuries or poor form).

He was hooker of the year not player of the year- he came third in the Petero Medal.

He has played 30 ISC games over four seasons and four NRL games two years ago. There are still question marks over how he will handle NRL. If he plays well in the trials he will be promoted.

Keep an eye on #10 #15 and #25

At least I'm sure Faatili is still with the Broncos. Does anyone know where his brother Felix ended up?

Hooker of the year in ISC would surely still be top 30 quality though, small amount of games done or not, it just feels strange that say if Billy or Paix can't play, Mozer is next a guy at current who has only played a handful of games against men off the bench in ISC.

It would be more comfortable once he plays more especially if he starts, I assume he is still at Souths Logan which if they play like last season wouldn't be the best environment.

Madden is also a chance at 14. Probably ahead of Mozer early on.

Smoothy was playing Colts in 2019 for Falcons, he had the whole of 20 off and had his first full year of ISC last season with 19 games. He's not that experienced.

I just think he's got to show that he can take that form forward this season. He's not that experienced and has never backed up a season before.

If he plays the trial games like he did ISC last season, then he will be promoted.

I originally thought it was Melbourne but he is playing for the Sharks in SG ball this weekend so that must be where he has ended up.

A bit strange that Shaun Packer is an omission. Is he injured, moved clubs or just not playing? I would have thought he would get minutes considering he hasn't played much cup if any (I feel like he got one game in last year or was that as 18th man?).

Shame, he looked the better of the brothers. Not sure if Caius is with the club, he's a beefy boy.

There's a rumour going around that he signed with Canberra.

What’s everyone hoping to see from this trial?

Personally I am excited to see Sailor play. Would like to see him go well and think he could provide great backup for nearly anywhere in the backline.

Keen for Piakura to show something to back up the hype too.

Personally hoping to see 720p video, but I don't have high hopes. First trials are usually boring so as long as no injuries I'll be happy.
