Which shits me. Costigan won't be nearly as effective as Thaiday was in both Origin 2 and vs Warriors.

I agree. I wouldve thrown Webb or Kaufusi a lifeline before costiganm purely for the fact they are capable of handling big games and are props.

Not a fan of picking Players out of position either, but I dare say there would have been much more thought if it wasn't a dead rubber imo.

Overall I think it could be the most competitive game out of the three 'footy wise'. We might see some expansive footy from both sides.

I really like the side and these are the reasons why;

1. It would have been criminal to leave Tonga out after his sensational form in Game 2. We reward loyalty in QLD, which is the exact reason we have 4 series in a row.

2. Costigan on bench after being 18th man is loyalty repaid, as per the above point.

3. Costigan, Shillington are good selections. I don't care what people may think about our pack being too light, because we have Thaiday and Crocker as well. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but White is a joke. Which leaves Perry and Poore. Therefore both teams have smaller, more mobile packs. IMO, Queensland selected this pack after they saw NSW's and in fact, on paper we have the better pack.

Great selections IMO and can't wait to see Scott step up to his biggest challenge ever. Also, let's hope Inglis and Boyd are marking Jennings and Hayne, because if things get switched around I think Hodges and Tonga may not be able to contain the pace of the NSW pair.

nate myles is technically a back rower. He's just big enough to play prop if necessary.

I would have preferred a specialist winger instead of Tonga, but i can see that they're keen to reward him for an excellent game last time.

Indeed it is. I remember that game. How funny - It was when Tonga was absolutely ripping it and Hodges was a nuffit. Unfortunately for Tonga things didn't go his way since then (bad luck to the bloke) but it is really interesting how life turns out sometimes?

I'm not to worried about Tonga being named on the wing. these day wingers and centers are always swapping around during the game.

I'm happy with the team and i think it was named as expected, but i don't really know much about shillington.

That is my point. Prince could play pretty much what ever role Cronk can play. Prince has been awesome I think if anyone deserves a utility if hunt is injured then Prince should be there first.
