I'd imagine he's talking about that 40-70 minute period where they were as erratic as anything.

When they actually played structured footy they were rolling through the Tigers.

Admittedly I think the Tigers went off the boil when Paix went off. It was like Origin I all over again. It doesn't matter if they're a man down, the only thing that matters is who has the footy.

Of course but the use the last play of the match to claim as the highlight of what they should be doing is dumb. Highlight a play from the 40-70 minute period where almost every play was erratic.

Normally teams take on the coach- Hunt was much safer than anything the Magpies produce.

They're a nightmare.

It summed things up. The Magpies put themselves in a bad position and all the Tigers had to do was capitilise. Blind Freddy could have taken that intercept.

Still think the Magpies can take some positives out of the chaos.

Mozer in particular came into his own and his work out of the ruck was as sharp as ever.

Paix was looking very dangerous until he thought he was Cameron Smith.

Problem is now they're going to week two against teams coming off a win and they haven't been great or even good for a month. They're trying to find form in finals which doesn't normally work too well.

I think their ability to score 24 points covers up all sorts of wrongs in how they go about their football.

You assume no more Bayliss for the season and who knows what happens tonight with Broncos injuries.

Pereria wasn't himself today or even close.

Fair bit going on.

Falcons 10-0 after five minutes and one 80m run that got a drop out. Two tries straight over the Dolphins right hand side.

Olam too strong. Plath is going to die out there.

Wishart goes 60m untouched and scores under the posts. What the hell are Redcliffe doing?

16-0.

Falcons 34-6 at HT.

Te'o half time speech would be interesting. Not a single positive for Dolphins.

Dolphins sort of come back- Falcons 42-36. Dolphins out.

Falcons first half was great, second half horrid.

Such odd games for finals.

Pride 4-0 over Wynnum- soft try in the corner.

Willison making some huge runs- Pascoe went off screaming about his arm after a minute so hard with no hooker.

Pride 10-6 at half time.

Wynnum should be furious with a try right on Half time.

Willison off after 25- I think Wynnum need a lot of time out of him in the second half he's the only Seagull making ground.

Broncos need Wynnum to win, you don't want Willison doing nothing for a month.

Willison backs up and runs 30m to score. Cops some knees in the back and is down.
