I think most of the top players have now finally realized that he is a fraud

and that many of the young up-and-comers have realize that for the good of their careers, they need to get away from Stuart ASAP.

I still laugh that the Raiders (and Furner) thought that Stuart would be able to change Milfords mind about coming to us

From what I've heard, they came very close to changing his mind.

its what the media would have you believe ...

besides it was more likely the $1.3 million a year, final offer they made to him that was more likely the difference.

and he saw sense and decided it to do the smart thing and listen to Lockyer, instead of the fraud.

Both hanging by a thread.

I'd like to watch them both pop spectacularly and simultaneously. Safety glasses, people.

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has made a career out of making excuses for his various teams' woeful performances.

Whether it's the referees, a lack of cattle, a shortage of time or decisions made by the board, one thing is certain – it's never Ricky's fault.
Destiny awaits the great man this weekend when his Raiders travel to The Shire to face Cronulla in a game that will have a massive say in who finishes last in 2014.
Both clubs are on 14 points with three rounds left. The loser will be favourite to claim the dreaded wooden spoon.
If the Raiders finish bottom this season Stuart will become the first top-grade coach in rugby league history to lead different clubs to the spoon in consecutive seasons.
We did some digging and uncovered a secret list of 10 new excuses Sticky has prepared in case the Green Machine go down again on Sunday afternoon:
1. We came up against a quality outfit who were at full strength and have no off-field dramas to distract them.
2. I told the bus driver to show Rocky III on the bus on the way down to fire the boys up, he played Porkys II instead.
3. Because I was sitting in the Andrew Ettingshausen Stand, all I could think of was Paul Mellor.
4. The dog ate my game plan.
5. My players aren't used to the cold.
6. The King Wan has taken the Beijing duck pancakes off the menu.
7. One of the Mermaids cheerleaders spiked our Gatorade.
8. The Sharks are now beginning to show the value of long-term planning by a coach. The labours of 2010 are obviously now starting to bear fruit. This will be the Raiders by 2018.
9. The piano introduction to Up Up Cronulla is off key and my players were distracted.
10. The Woden Western Rams under 10s have been hit hard by injuries so we don't have any fresh players to bring into first grade – yet.

I watched the 2000 Grand Final today and Ricky had a pearler about how the Roosters would get ahead. They need to spend more time in the Broncos half or something along those lines. A real rugby league genius, he is.

I thought he started with them in 2002? Or was he assistant or something?

Clive's has rubber buttons installed on all of his suits. Like the ones from 1970 's football jersey's.

It's not actually a button. His sheer mass has created a black hole near his belly button. Clearly his jacket has been caught in its gravity. There's another dimension somewhere that's used to having dropped food coming through the portal, now there's just this weird suit material flapping through.

Always thought Clive's would suck into some dark oriface. Didn't think it would be his button though

He was a guest commentator for 9 for that game. He had just retired at the time and coached the Bulldogs jersey flegg the next year before starting with the Roosters in 2002.

Quite disappointed Canberra won today. I would've loved to see the Raiders finish with the spoon and hopefully Parra in the finals.

Dang it

Haha well if we don't make it and I want to see Parra there just for the LOL's at Stuart. Of course I want us there instead of them and I've got some hope after last night but I still feel we need a miracle to do it.
