Judiciary is considering their verdict.

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

I'm glad the defence harped on it being a contrary conduct charge, not a dangerous charge. If the kick isn't being debated, how was making room to play the ball contrary?

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Guilty.

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Heard on the radio that they ruled it contrary conduct because there was not enough force in the kick to cause injury. So basically admit that it wasn't bad enough to warrant a kicking charge. So how come Brown didn't get a contrary conduct charge? A stomp on the nuts is heaps worse than a nudge on the back with your shin.

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Trial by media..well done everyone

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

So how long did they consider the verdict for, 90 seconds?

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Special shout out to Titans coach, Gould, Sterling and too many names to mention..

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Does anyone know the last Bronco to have a win at the juidicary & when it was? I reckon our success rate is abismal.

Hodges.

There was never a chance in hell of Roberts getting off. Just another example of the NRL being scared shitless of the media. They literally dictate this comp. It's a disgrace.

Looks like the footy gods are evening it up with injuries to cow backs. What an absolute disgrace the mrc and judiciary are.

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

and that piece of luck will cost us another 10 years of GUILTY verdicts

Unfortunately. Never mind every other team gets favourable judiciary decisions like Wighton/Raiders, we got one call go our way in a decade (I do believe it was something ridiculous like that), and we will be paying for it for another decade.

EDIT: This article (No Cookies | The Courier Mail) states before the Hodges not guilty, we were 1 from 14 since 2000. So I guess that is 2 from 16?

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

We need another Super League. And this time, don't stop till the ARL topples.

Definitely not against this in principle but 2 big problems stand in our way:

1. Newscorp - don't want those ***** anywhere near this comp at all ever again. The fact they own my club makes me ill.

2. Splitting the comp in 2 once again, with the AFL salivating for another chance to kick us while we're down, doesn't sound like what we need right now.

Re: Roberts chances at the judiciary?

Ennis and Wighton should be gone for 2-3 weeks, yet we cop this. Bloody ropeable.
