Came about at the start of the year I think?? and it's basically putting your body weight on the back of the ball runner's legs so their feet get caught beneath your body and you get brought down

It would be marginal and even then where does that get Brisbane for 2022?

2022 we move on. Its hard to judge him on his injury hit time at Brisbane. His form now is better and he is fit. We would be a better side with him in it than Arthars or Niu at center.

I literally had to do a google search of the "hip drop" tackle as i have genuinely never heard of it before.
There is like 5 examples of it on youtube that i could find, and they all look like a normal tackle to me but apparently its when you use your body weight to pin the attckers legs underneath you as you hold their waste and turn the body.

Exactly... I have no idea where else McGuire can go with that tackle when JAC is moving forward.

The worse ones are where the player has stopped moving and the player hip drops on a stopped player whilst the top two fold him back over the 3rd tackler
