although, unless i'm mistaken the only other hooker in their squad is Levi, and he was named 19th man, so I would say it is unlikely he will play

Yeah hopefully he gets the start, don't be surprised if Lewis Brown or somebody starts at Hooker though. He's played there plenty.

fair enough ... i always thought Lewis Brown was a back rower ...

but he could certainly start someone more defensively minded against the Aussies.

I am really hope he starts ... i think it would be fantastic for his development ... speaking about club footy for a minute ... someone like Bennett showing faith in him could do wonders for his confidence and performance

I agree, he starts the games so slowly it's like he's not even on the field.

unfortunately going purely right takes Oates out of the equation ...

my first choice would be to punt Reed, but since that isn't going to happen ... I would switch Reed and Roberts, that would hopefully bring Roberts into the game more, and i would love to see Roberts linking up with Milf, the opposition wouldn't know what hit them

What does he need to change going left to right (genuinely asking)? Obviously passing the other direction. Maybe someone with more technical RL knowledge knows? Hold the ball in the other arm/palm with the opposite I guess? Does it matter what foot he steps off? (I can't even remember which foot it is, not something I notice).

Surely that wouldn't be too hard to swap over... Defence is the same right?

But I like him and JK as a combo, it's a pitty they don't get any ball. I'd rather plenty of ball going right then swapping Roberts... Once he had early ball in space on the weekend that was beautiful to watch.

I can't see Bennet changing it this season though, only if another right centre comes along.

I said it last pre game thread and ill say it again. I really think we should just use moose as the hooker when kniko is having a rest. Throw another forward on the bench like TPJ and start blair wallace at prop and moose at hooker. bring kniko on at about the 20-25min mark to replace wallace and push moose back to prop.

What is with people's obsession with McGuire at hooker? Changing the whole team rotation to move a prop to hooker is mind baffling.
