PRE-GAME Round 10 - Sea Eagles vs Broncos

Its a shame flegler is still on a development contract. He would have played this week against the eagles for certain.
He is way too good for cup and what he produced again this afternoon was outstanding

He needs more minutes; some weeks he is playing as little as 20 minutes. Hard to have an impact in that short a time. While Carrigan last game was up to nearly 80.

Since Carrigan started starting in round four he's responded to the responsibility and has taken it on.

Having said that Flegler's run, offload try play today was exceptional at the death.

I'm ready for a good smashing. Like a 30+ point win. Can we please turn Manly over and go to town?!

This season has been too stressful and frustrating to date.

DCE might like it abit to much if he got turned over and went to town on. Nah by seriously, this could be the game where we finally get our run away score, they are struggling as a team and as a club.

Norths were average on the weekend and if it wasn't for Murphy and Taggers then things would have been a lot worse. Taggers played big minutes staying out there for 58 minutes which is close to his most this season.

He was plugging gaps in the middle and only missed two tackles, Cutters came through there all game and guys like Faletgoa'l had a huge impact.

Taggers runs are well down because Norths were terrible. He's gone from nine tackle breaks the first two weeks down to two now. He ran hard and still made ground but gee his team mates are making it hard.

Manly tends to have a habit of destroying us in this game :/

After watching Manly yesterday I am even more concerned about this game. We will really need to get on top of Taupau, Fonua-Blake and J Trbojevic if we want to stand a chance. The fact that T Trbojevic had a shocker makes me even more nervous because he is due a big performance.

This one does not feel good. I suspect we will scrape it but it wont be pretty. I will be pleasantly shocked if we can put plenty of points on them.

They were horrible last week and DCE missed a goal kick from right in front. They surely can't be that poor again...but the Broncs can be. They've won two-in-a-row and that worries me because it means the Broncs are due to be rubbish once again.

But seriously, DCE's goal kicks have to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen in rugby league.

Might be written into his contract for his three billion a year. So maybe he’s trying to shank them to get out of the clause...[emoji2]

I cringe when I see fans stating that this match is a good opportunity to improve greatly on our +/-. This is the same team whose greatest winning margin this year is 9. Also the same side that you simply cannot read form from because their "bad" is absolutely paltry and their "good" is very promising.

I'm just hoping for a win and with an inconsistent side missing four regulars and a disjointed spine, victories will continue to be hard earned and certainly cannot EVER be assumed.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if we could put plenty of points on anybody

I know it's not news, but the boys really don't seem to have any trouble getting to the 20m line, but when they get there they seem devoid of ideas

At least for the time being, it seems points will be at a premium for Broncos, so defense is even more important

I thought beating the warriors in NZ would be a turning point for the broncos this year but they still haven't got things together yet. So anything is possible against manly

And yet we are equal 4th on points. Not bad if you ask me.

These games we are just expected to win have really let us down this year.
I really thought if we were a genuine threat we would have put 40 on the Titans at Suncorp a few weeks back, and that was nowhere near what happened.. Then we faced the Warriors in NZ, I thought that could have been anything considering the form the Warriors were in, and we got the W.
Then there was last week where again, if we were serious we should have put 30 on the Dogs at home, especially with the form they are in..but, we just get the W.
This week I think we should win, but Manly worries me.. Hopefully they do some work on the Suncorp turf through the week also.
We are very hard to gauge at the moment, but here's hoping we put on a clinic on this weekend....

Dont disagree about the minutes and where carrigan is at right now he is 2 years older as well. I have always been a carrigan fan.
The thing with carrigan is i am not sure he is a long term edge option. More suited to the middle as his footwork isnt anywhere near as sharp as the other backrow options there now or coming through.

Be nice to blood another young forward so hope get Carrigan in there if doing alright.

Hope to win but not sure we want a big win that gives false confidence. Just be nice to put in an 80 minutes without letting opposition take lead or back in. A nice 12+ but no flogging would be ideal.

Hopefully just getting his fitness up, he's exceptional like Arrow but don't know where he fits in 2018 besides injury cover.

I would have thought Mago ahead at this stage
