Round 11 - Roosters vs Broncos

Poor Petey Badel, cant roll out his pre written broncos bashing article tomorrow about Walker "HOW DID THEY LET HIM GO"

Its ok, he has the teenage sensation Suaalii and his sensational debut he has had pre written for 12 months, with quotes from 'former staff' of the Broncos who 'could have signed him'...oh wait nope cant use that either.

BRONCOS WIN - WRITE THAT BADEL YA FUCKWIT

Even though roosters were hard done by with Radley sin bins, the effort and tempo was back. The beginnings of some solid foundations are starting to be laid, slowly. They need to learn what winning and closing a game is like.

Its something ive said every time we play well, but we really have to back it up. We cant keep putting in huge efforts then collapsing for 2 or 3 weeks after.

Simple but genius tactic running TPJ into Walker. Other sides will copy this blueprint when they play the Roosters.
that's actually one thing i have noticed since kevie being coach. he has given certain players key simple instructions every game and you can actually see it happen.

I honestly cannot remember that happening a single time under seibold

It will go down in the books as heavily influenced by the officials but I'll take any win we can get these days especially with this squad comprised mainly of misfits and plodders.

But to be fair, the two props paved a great platform all night long and TPJ's targetting of Walker basically left him ineffective. The Roosters were very poor and they couldn't cope with their many setbacks.

The game was totally fucked as a spectacle though, it took more than two hours to play and the core and breadth of this sport has been wiped out in a fortnight. The NRL need to reassess some of their plans because there ain't nobody watching this shit and the horrid ratings prove it.

Love the Broncos when they play like the Broncos. So good to see our forwards get the mongrel and take it to somebody for once. Albert was great, made an error but was involved heavily and tackled his but off, 4 years older then our last 5/8 and still has a bit of go in him. Could be running around with a couple of old halfs next year, Albert could go well with Adam if this continues to go well.

The commentary was an absolute joke, I think anyone who listened to fox knows what I am talking about. Radley should have been sent and if the game is fairdinkum about what they are trying to do he should be out for about 6 to 10 weeks for loading for each. Watch 360 and Kent completely do a 180 and back track everything they said about the heavy enforcement being needed. Uncle Nicks on phone all night to whoever will listen.

How Lodge wast sent for 10 for his slap and Radley didn't get sent off completely I will never know and Manu can do two in 1 minute and not go. Either go with rules as they are and own it or give it up.

oh and Voss your absolute Toss mate.

3. Lodge - He was immense. Huge metres, didn't give anything silly away except that bullshit sin bin and never stopped. He has found the extra gear he needed to be competitive
2. TPJ - Worked Walker over like a bitch. I can't recall a Bronco who has been better at taking individual players right out of the game than him. Radley was clearly given the job of protecting Walker and he derped it big time.
1. Haas - He was overshadowed by his fellow starting props on this occasion, but even a B grade performance from Payne is still a huge effort.
