Brisbane Broncos vs Penrith Panthers

Referee: Adam Gee
Touch judges: Wyatt Raymond and Chris Sutton
Bunker official: Ashley Klein

Enough said.
Klein in the Bunker might give him the time he needs to actually make a call without losing the plot.

Also, just how many Suttons are there ffs?

should be good just need to be clear on who is doing the general play kicking arey would do and not get flustered over calling each other.

I want to throw Madden some support but that performance against Souths was disgraceful and embarrassing. He gets a shot here at redemption but if he has even the slightest of games like that again I just don't see how we could continue to select him. He will be attacked all night and if he isn't up to it than we need to go looking for a new backup half or we will have to start calling on Billy again and letting smoothy or mozer join the hooker rotation. Good luck to him, I think he has talent to succeed and I want to see him succeed he seems like a great bloke that tries hard but I'm not so confident that he can be reliable.

We’ll need some deeper kicks in general play than what Mam served up against the Storm. Is that Walsh, Madden or Walters?

I would hope Walters early in the set for a quick dart and punch over the top. Mam for short play stuff and Madden for general course but deeper back to protect him from Penrith line speed.

The loss of Reynolds is the element of surprise in attack. Madden and Mam won't be able to replicate the quick judgement and reaction of Reynolds' kicking and the guess work fullbacks have to do.

Broncos have 14/50 tries from kicks which is the best in the competition but 12 of them have come before the fourth.

Tackle 1-3 is seven of that 14.

Lot falls on Walsh. Madden has a good kick in him, he kicked against Souths from 50 out and got it to stop on the dead ball line for a try.

Well one decent long kicker is better than none. With Reynolds out, it looked like Mam was kicking a football-shaped balloon, it seemed to come off the boot fine but then was flat out going 30 metres.
