We will be looking to come back hard from this one. I think we need to make a few small changes first though.

I marked this game out on the calendar at the start of the season. I hate the Raiders, if we get done by these wankers I will be physically ill. Cmon boys lift and turn this around

So oats come back on the wings. Matt gillet come back. Give Thaiday rest for this game. I would love Tpj on bench for Thaiday. Tpj is former raider player. He will be very determined to performe good against his old club. I think eseese and tpj gone be very good player.

Hunt, Milf and Hunt+Milf have to be at their best: control and organise the attack for 80, Boyd the defence on the line (at least he's reliable), Parker and Blair the defence in the middle, maximum focus for the full 80, or the Raiders will blow us off the park.

No Wighton or Shannon Boyd for the Raiders.

Considering the Raiders dropped Paul Vaughan for whatever reason this week that should be easily remedied but the Wighton situation is trickier. Rapana will likely go to fullback with Kato Ottio to make his debut on the wing. He's a try-scoring machine Ottio and if it was my call would have been in the team before either Lee brother.

Either way, it should be a blow. Wighton looked much improved against Manly and I think they'll miss having Rapana on the right wing.

Also like the suggestion of resting Thaiday this week. I don't think the side loses all that much by playing Pangai Jr and I think Wayne needs to keep it fresh in the forwards.

We clearly need some more go-forward early on, with Oates & Gillett back in, and elevating Pangai, that'll definitely improve, the other thing that needs attention is the lack of potency of the left side attack, adding the skill and footwork of Pangai & Opacic with Milford & Oates should be the injection of youth and skill that we're lacking.

The only issue might be teaching Pangai & Opacic the defensive aspects of playing on that left edge, but at this stage, I'm willing to sacrifice defence for offence.

Edit: Unsure on how well Opacic is playing at the moment, Seve and Isaako are other options.

S Boyd is confirmed out for this game, but I thought the Raiders weren't making a decision on Wighton until tomorrow?

In my point of view Pangai is not ready for starting. He is good for us from bench. I also like the suggestion opacic for left centre. I do not think so coach gone change anything. There gone be lot of pressure on some player. This is our last game before bye. So coach gone see how player perform this Thursday.

Harry - Yeah, that's just the scenario they're currently facing.

I know Reed and Glenn were poor yesterday, but I don't like the idea of Opacic (a right side specialist) and Pangai Jr protecting Milford and marking up on Whitehead and Leilua. I wouldn't be completely against dropping Reed, but if that happens then I'd prefer Kahu going to left centre and bringing through a young gun (not Eden) on the right wing.

Also, I know Waddell is supposedly horrible and the worst thing to happen to the Broncos, but Brisbane need two specialist hookers. Neither Glenn or McGuire are up to it.

I really think Bennett will rest Parker and Thaiday against the Raiders.

If we don't come out of the blocks firing then it just shows where we're at attitude wise, other teams have won games by just dominating for 40 minutes then doing enough to hold on - maybe we should try that instead of lumbering towards a fg shootout and bottling it again.

There's a bye the week after so the non-Origin players need to fucking dig in.

I just hope Jack "Bowman" Reed doesn't embarass himself again against the deadly Raiders right edge.

I wouldn't be against Thaiday being rested for half a dozen to a dozen rounds.

Had a little chuckle at this taken from a blog form the Daily Telecrap. Just sums up Maranta perfectly.
