Wahs in NZ a few days after origin haha ffs. I’d say we’ve already accepted defeat and will rest the origin players.

This is part of the issue.

Melbourne without Munster. Riff without Cleary. Both are still top 8 teams, heck, you could take out Paps and Yeo and they'd still finish in the top eight.

The squad at the very minimum needs to be hanging onto the ball and defending well enough to scratch out tough wins without their stars. If you don't have that, you're riding on luck.
Both of those teams have had sustained success though, we are in the second year of our success and have been decimated by injuries across the board. We haven’t yet had enough time to build up that next man up culture.

Hetherington, Riki, are two wasted forwards at the minute. Mam is stealing his wages, Madden tried but he’s got a long way to go. Cobbo tried but could not hold the ball, the Karp tried but was just a yard of pace too slow. Sailor’s first touch was a cockup that led to their first try.

Was a hard game to watch. We deadset are playing like a qcup team. Our error rate is unforgivable.

We are missing the most creative half of our spine, but that does not excuse the rabble that took the field tonight. Piakura has still to convince me he is worthy of the hype. He is a novice when it comes to defending.

Hope Willison pulls up OK. We’ll be well out the 8 by the end of origin. Been a shit three weeks for Bronco fans And it don’t look to get better anytime soon.

Difference is they have solid structures in place for years, we are still making ours

Totally agree with 2nd part

Ezra Mam was all we had tonight in attack, pretty easy to defend that.
Not knocking you mate, but it's a team game. The problems go much deeper. I feel sorry for the team. It's obvious on Field that they don't know how to play. Seiblod 2.0

Also, not sure why some are blaming Adam Gee?
Did he look disinterested?
Did he put up useless kicks that went 15m end over end?
Did he drop 10,000 balls on the first tackle?

The infuriating thing is that Madden has those kicks in his locker, he has used them before.
Against Canberra? Did he play then? You’ve got a better memory than me, coz I can’t recall….

Agree the performances good enough, but I don’t think you are fully appreciating how much of a difference both of them make to our everyday running.

Oh I definitely do and Im saying we are way too reliant on them to have any sort of sustained success. Look at the likes of the Panthers and the Storm, they have systems and structures to allow the next man up to slot in and fill a gap

We had a few shit years but don't act like we're not the fucking Broncos...

Also it did seem like Riki was lucky to not be sent off, and lucky again that Latrell got 10. All our errors killed us. Can't blame the ref for that.

I agree with your last sentence, but i also think if our system wasnt built around Walsh and Arey we might stand a better chance of getting by without them for a while. Its how the Storm used to compete and how Penrith do. Trying to get another player to replicate Walsh or Reynolds game is nearly impossible for a backup player.
Are the players smart enough to have a system not built around a Reynolds?

Feel like we've had the dumbest squad for a long time... pack of athletes and not enough footballers

I notice a lot of posters holding out comments. Particularly the fan boy Posters. No name's included, as I'm sure you'll return the favour.

Will you be happy if everyone is as miserable as you, or will you still just be miserable, do you think?

Can't even remember the game, but as someone else said in reply, he doesn't do it consistently. Gets a result and then puts it away.

That’s the whole point though isn’t it? What do we do if we don’t have Reynolds if we don’t have system that revolves around him?
