[Round 16, 2021] Broncos vs Sharks

I wasn’t able to watch the game, so this is a question not a statement.

Is Glenn only getting a pass mark because his standard output, by and large, is so fucking terrible (I have watched every other game for as long back as I can remember)? I mean, those stats seem fine (without being anything exceptional), but as a very seasoned SRF, it is pretty fair to say that should be the baseline, not the outlier.

For mine, he’s a lot 2018-2020 Boyd. People would remark he’d done well simply because he hadn’t had an absolute Barry.
100%

I think we all agree this should be his last season. He was better today but you're right, nothing remarkable. If he doesn't maintain at least today's performance level he shouldn't be selected. Boyd had a very good last season especially considering who he had as team mates. Had they all contributed like he did in his last season we'd never had the spoon awarded to us.

Still fighting the good fight I see lol.

What about @BooKhaki ?

Sept last year Kennedy was the worst footballer in the NRL. Couple days ago he was demanding he be on the bench!!!

Is it possible? What changed his tune? Was BookHaki wrong? Or did Kennedy buy a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of ability during the off season?

I wish I could give a half-like to a post, as I wanted to like this post but couldn’t simply because I can’t agree with the bit about Boyd.

His last season was classic dud, end of career Boyd, sans a handful of games. He just played on way too long and wasn’t any good.

In my mind the captain should be held to a higher standard, not lower.

Congrats on the win but not sure there was much value adding south's to the bet here. You could have kept it to the one result with a very similar payout if you just powerplayed the broncos
I added value and it was powered.

That no try for the Sharks, what rule did the bunker use to knock that back?

Even though it was a mile forward, I don't see what possible rule they could have used to turn it down.

11% for 1 other result to have to get up. I have been done on bets like this.

I am very happy you won dont get me wrong backing the broncos was brave and you deserve your cash.

Claimed Katoa lost control and therefore the 'pass' was him batting on a loose ball, which they can rule on as a knock on.

I believe there was a call earlier in the year where the bunker was officially allowed to rule on 'bat on' type passes, as it is not related to hand movement, etc.

Because he temporarily lost control of the ball before passing they called it a “bat on” rather than a pass - which they are allowed to rule on, unlike passes.

In other words, they pulled it out of their ass.

Really surprised that I haven’t seen Herbie mentioned on here. I thought he was fantastic taking the hard runs to get us out of trouble. It makes a huge difference to our forwards when you have outside backs willing to get stuck in.

I watched Kennedy when he played u20s @ Storm. He always looked like a solid first grader. Not a highlight reel player but effective and his errors generaly came when trying too hard rather than laziness.

Good call.... so many meters from the outside backs
