I get a sneaky suspicion that this will be one of pangai 2 highlight games per year... then he will be suspended for 12 games.
We won't win though, guaranteed NRL will want this as a "no longer little brother/QLD ready for another team" game. Dubious 10 metres 1 way, 6 agains that no one knows why until they get an unreachable lead at which point some will be given to us to match it on the stats sheet, unquestioned prop forward HIAs with halves and backs allowed to carry on -all 1 way, pangai penalised multiple times for tackling hard, "harsh" very importantly timed penalties that are easily forgotten about post match in the media, "unlucky" bunker calls....

I will happily bet anyone that the refs performance above will happen..... It's whether the players can beat that

As expected, only the two changes:

Flegler into start instead of Lodge and Kennedy on to the bench.

Oates into 21. Everyone else is as is.

Great stuff. Was hoping Kennedy would get a run early on in the season. Let me just say here that the field positions I admire the most are the tough mutherfuckers in the middle. They win you matches but at times their contributions meet with indifference. I'm especially fond of the hard workers amongst them who never attract the headlines.

I give us a chance with this team and I might even have a plunge on them especially if tomorrow's summit meeting goes as expected! Yes, world's worst punter.

Hasn't always been so? Ever since 1988, we've always had to do more than enough to win the tough games as it's NSW's comp. I think whenever I watch a Warriors game that it is pretty much the same deal too.

I'd almost agree but the real pain didn't really start until we became a true success. It really ramped up in early '94. The ManlySWRL conspired with the ineffectual bumbling QRL to do everything in their power to undermine and break the Broncos. That included letting the refs believe we were 'getting away with things' and had no respect for the authoritieswithin the game. It was an orchestrated and coordinated attack. *****.

You know, I'd have a variation on that. I'd have the Broncos 1-12 in one multi and in the other the Broncos 13+. I have this feeling the Broncos would want to lap anyone they've got beaten and it'd be my luck they'd be leading by 12 with 90 seconds to go and then score again, just to **** up my celebration.
