PRE-GAME Round 2 - Titans vs Broncos

I'd be pretty stunned if Walters punted Croft inside the first month. Just doesn't seem like something he would do and that's probably fair on Croft too.

If we're 1 or 0 from the first 4 or 5 games and Dearden is playing the house down in the Queensland Cup it's going to be a very different situation.

after Titans and Dogs, we have Storm, Souths and Penrith. Very possible we may only be 1 or 2 from 6

That's okay imo.

As long as we win 5-6 from our next ten.

HScreenshot 2021 03 15 Farnworth We Need To Be More Ruthless

Cheer up Tommy, wear this one instead

Herbie Farnworth's being rolled out today to talk about how they can win against the Titans:

“Keeping the ball and when we are on top, being a bit more ruthless and finish off the game. We can get that through practise and as you play more games you will get better at it, but there were some good signs there against the Eels. That last 20 minutes, even though we didn’t get the win, we were definitely fighting until the final whistle. We just couldn’t find that winning try.”

“Xavier is fine (to play). I’m not too sure what happened but when he goes for the try, he needs to stop doing the fancy dive for the cameras and stay lower. A few of the boys have been talking to him about that today. But he’s scored some pretty special tries so you can‘t really question him, I reckon.”

The Love Bug is sooooooo easy to love.

That's a big ask for a team who have lost 12 straight and 18 of their last 19. I'll take any win as a bonus this year. Making calculations to possibly qualify for the finals is pointless at this stage.

Wasn't even thinking of the finals qualification. I'll be disappointed with this year with anything less than 6-8 wins. It would prove last year wasn't the force majeure we all thought it was.

I'm more optimistic about not finishing near the spoon.

Who thought that? The club and players are almost entirely responsible and most bad luck was met with 0 resilience

I don't really rate Penrith and would consider it winnable given it's at Suncorp... provided we keep the same attitude that we showed last week.

All the NSWRL media are praising the Panthers, but they had 59% of possession and 59 tackles inside the 20, but it took them until the 53rd minute to score their second try and by the 62nd minute they were done scoring.

Considering how woeful the cowboys were they should've put 50 on them.

Also last year they only played outside of NSW twice by round 17, and only 3 times all year (gold coast rd 11, broncos rd 17 and cows rd 19)... which basically meant they only had to FIFO three times all year, and also didn't have to play Melbourne in Melbourne.

I think they're top 4, but I also think they're pretty overrated.

I think we have a good chance against the Titans. We're only going to be missing Lodge, so if the forwards can hold the line and our backs play like they did last game we should be good.

The Haas suspension really pisses me off! At the time of his fuckup I knew I would be filthy with him now. Now Lodge has gone down we are going to struggle in the middle. TPJ is fucked after 15 mins and Cardigan just doesn’t have the impact. Won’t matter how good our halves are playing if we get pumped in the middle...

With Asiata and Coates cleared, im confident we can put 30+ on the board. Not sure how much we will leak, but Tits dont have much after last weeks showing.
