Very strange, Kennedy should definitely be starting. I have been impressed by Palasia though, I really didn't think much of him pre-this season.

He never played 6 at the top level, but lots of commentators and experts who saw him coming up have gone on record saying when he was playing 6 in the junior levels before (3? 4?) serious knee injuries that he was a mercurial talent and pretty spectacular there.

Did anyone here ever see him playing in the halves coming up?

Seen him play for Keebra at fullback one of the best schoolboy talents.. could of been anything if injuries were on his side.. trained all pre season at 6 one year at the broncos but did his knee in the trials

He did consider him, and he considered Isaako a better option this week. Not least because he can kick goals. If Isaako, Staggs or Niu gets injured, or have a shocker, he might get promoted in a shuffle. Bottom line: he's in the 30. He's being paid. He does what he's told.

If Turpin pulls out bring in Albert, croft to 14 to fill in at 9 or Kobe to 9 and willison makes his debut is all that really makes sense..

In terms of Coates, we owe him nothing. If he doesn't get picked, that's his problem and I couldn't care less what Melbourne says, we should never do anything for them for any reason whatsoever.

I've had a few minutes to think about it and calmed down a lot. I admit I was pissed about it. Thinking it through RKs stint was quality and it just might be the right move. If Palasia can absorb the early stuff Kennedy might keep the momentum up and provide a few offloads. I'm trusting the Broncos brainstrust as I feel as though they must have considered the best way to use RKs offloads. I hope they are right. I truly want to see the Cows beaten.

What's this idea of hitting it too sweetly? Hitting it sweetly indicates you've nailed it in terms of technique. If you're overcooking it, you're simply fucking up and hence it can't be too sweet.

I think what it means it that you have struck it (technique wise) better then expected (right on the 'sweet spot') and therefore did not need so much power. I did this a lot in my hockey days lol. Poor bastards didn't see the ball coming.

Something tells me that even if he were a top notch goal kicker he still wouldn’t be in the side this week.
I understand that it’s kevvies call it just looks like something else is going on.
