POST GAME [Round 22, 2023] Broncos vs Roosters

The actual rule is play on. If the ball hits the ref it's a mutual infringement and attacking team gets the ball back but if the ref just gets in the way... Play on. Bit of a shit rule, should at least be a 6 again.
not sure that is correct...i thought scrum attacking team feed..may be wrong its hard to keep up with VL ball. is there an actual 2023 version of rules

Patty and JWH both charge for a grade 1 careless high tackle.

Patty will get an $1800

And JWH will get a $3k fine as he keeps doing it (3rd and subsequent offence)

Sorry I'm lost..................... can somebody please explain to me how Arthurs who made contact with a dude who was falling is sent to the bin and a Grade 2 and a week off and yet serial farkwit JWH who made very clear head contact with one of our tallest players stays on the field and is only Grade 1 and yet another fine?

Either Keary decided to have a nap after falling off the tackle or his team mate foot knocked him, should of been a HIA?

Could of been the best NRL game of the year if the refs did not get the old make it more close & entertaining half time speech from whoever directs them.

This game gives me hopes for the Broncs in any finals match but can also be taken away from us by the refs just like that.
THIS is the reason for the reffing. Gotta keep them close as best they can.

Penalties ended up being 7-8. Now bear in mind, we were 6–1 at one point because they were all over us trying to slow us down to hold on as they were getting destroyed. So what exactly happened that made us go from that to the total opposite direction?

One suggestion: KPI of evening things up.

That second half was not even close to being of a professional adjudication standard. It turned into an absolute farce. And how in earth did we end up without the ball after the referee getting in the way of a certain try? I’m not saying he did that deliberately of course, accidents do happen but how the Roosters got the ball out of that I’ll never know.
I thought it was supposed to be a scrum for the attacking team?

It's not his go?

You guys haven't seen delusional until you visit the Chooks forum, lol

I'll sum it up ...

The only reason we won is because Atkin wanted us to win ... in fact they think Uncle Nick needs to call the NRL and complain about how unfairly they were treated.

Also apparently we're only top of the ladder because that's what the NRL want

Edit:

They actually made a list of all the things that went against them ... they didn't mention the BS offside call. JWH hitting Haas high, or the ref's try saver on Smoothy

the head slam on Ethan
Kearys drop on first tackle 20 metres out
the two man strip
the high call on JWH
Billy Smiths kick
Reynolds taking a dive
Sandons kick too early in the count
Brisbane looked offside a lot.
I thought there was planty of effort
but Keary is a shadow of his former self,
Sandon is still learning.... we really miss Walker
Radley struggling to adjust
probably should have been a lot closer if we got some better calls
we might have even won it.
Only thing to look forward to now is potentially knocking Souths out.

FMD, that will do me. When we were lucky to get past where the Ptb was a lot of the time because of the roosters players being up already.... You hardly see any proper angles on the broadcast but if any team was offside all game it was them.
