POST GAME Round 22 - Broncos vs Bulldogs

On the bright side, I got XXXX Bitter in the XXXX Back A Mate challenge and won a free tour of the XXXX Brewery :)

Enjoy it, the Ale House is a top spot to fill up before a game too.

We are truly getting exposed for the team we are this season, injuries or not.

- No discipline.
- Way too many errors.
- A lot of confidence was taken out of us after Manly mauled us.

I'm afraid to say this, but we will not win this years premiership. Corwboys & Roosters would eat us alive with the amount of errors we make etc.

Sucks we don't have a month to sort it out then hey.

Exactly, and the ball was never travelling forward off anyone except the fucking Bulldogs player.

As soon as it happened, i thought of the last time we played the dogs. As long as one of the Morris' score, the rules don't matter!

Suddenly we are bereft of creative, structured attacking plays. Where have they gone? Hunt and Milford look no longer in control. Is it because we are playing sides which have gone up a few gears?

Running one-out up the middle? Errr. What's happened to the passing game?. You run one-out when nobody seems to be trying to create something. We really miss Blair.

I'm worried 'cos we seem to have lost so much of our well structured, well executed plays. The defence is good. The attack sucks. Hodges needs a rocket. He's a part of the team, not apart from the team. What is his role? Pull rabbits out of a hat? Fit in or piss off.

I'd also rather Kahu in the centres over Reed any day. I thought Wallace was good. Gillett's defence is just excellent. Try savers.

Time to re-group and return to the structures and execution of a few weeks ago.

Reed and Glenn really let us down badly tonight.

They all seemed a little off tonight, and some pretty silly errors.

And *SPOILER*

Manly just racked up a score on the rabbits as well, so clearly Manly are just on a red hot streak at the moment.

Thanks for that. What was I supposed to do? Close the page immediately because you left a 1 line gap before telling the score?

I thought the rules were very clear about posting spoilers in Friday post game threads?

Gotta love how in the first 10mins the refs give us 3 penalties for Dogs holding down and hands on the ball..then I guess they thought "Looks like the Dogs aren't getting the memo..better stop penalizing it."

Disappointing loss I thought the loss against Manly would be the good kick in the arse we needed but it wasn't to be. We just made poor decisions with the ball and didn't keep our composure while on the other hand the Bulldogs didn't drop their heads after being behind and ground out a win. We're really missing McGuire.

Congrats on breaking Lockyer's record Corey. 300 first grade games, Origin win and man of the series and Australian selection. Been a fair year for our mate Corey Parker.

Seems odd to complain well after the broadcast is over, but if I actually did spoil it for you, I apologize. I put in multiple spaces IIRC, but for whatever reason it came through as one.

There is still 5 minutes left in the game.

It was disappointing, but I'm actually feeling encouraged by the fact we only lost by 2 when...

- We dropped the pill too much.-
- The combo Glenn-Milford-Reed is starting to get really found out in defense.
- We didn't get the bounce of the ball once, with very nice kicks just rolling too far, and handing the Dogs 7 tackle sets.
- Definitely didn't get the rub of the green, although I agree with the Milford no try, but everything went against us, illustrated by the amount of time the they were allowed to lay in the tackle against us, combined with the blatant forward passes, taking out of kick chasers and finally, that Milford "knock on".

Good game from Thaiday, Kahu, Gillett, Boyd and Hunt, but they couldn't save us from the amount of errors we made.

I can't believe I'm saying this... never thought I would say it either, but boy did we miss Blair!
(Speaking of him, he was very non-committal about his suspension when asked about that "shoulder charge", but you could clearly see he thought it was bullshit. Otherwise very nice, soft spoken and polite guy. Was a bit surprised at his size, as he isn't as big a guy as I would've expected him to be for a front rower.)

Any chance of coply getting a run next week? Seems reeds for has gone back to old shit mess.

It's a miracle ... People starting to come around to my way of thinking re: Reed.

Kahu and Copley will be a strike center pairing fir us in the future. They both just need some time and consistency in the same position.

Yuk, finally back in internet range and it's a disappointment...oh well, it's on again next week ! So, finally on BHQ we will have a few posters saying ' Go the Sharkies ' ha ha

I'm saying "go Knights" because that way we would maintain our 4 point buffer to finish in the top 2.

But the Sharkies winning would be good too because we would keep top spot.

Yeah, I'll be going for the Knights...at least for the first 5 minutes, before the score becomes like 32 - 0.
