Probably one of the best games the storm have played all season and probably our worst.. you can't win a football game with no possession especially against the storm.

We got dominated through the middle, We have no forward leader currently, Payne wants the big money but can't stand up to a opposition forward pack.
Oates needs help getting yards from our own end the loss of Herbies metres is really starting to show.. Cobbo occasionally but the others in the back 5 give him no help. Kotoni on the pay check he is on needs to do more.

Jake Turpin I thought was good tonight and I think the club should keep him in the 30 on minimum wage beyond this year as cover.

Haas at the moment is playing like someone on $250 000 a year and what a contrast Harry Grant is to the plodders we have at 9.

I can't get my head around our passive line speed. The Storm constantly have good line speed and regularly leave early but do it so often that they rarely get pinged for it. Contrast this to our passive line speed where we let the attacker get to us at full speed then instead of hitting with the shoulder we grab and let them walk another 5-10 metres. The Storm were going 100 m from some kick offs after scoring.

Also it's time to stop this 2 passes from a tap where we make 1-2 metres before being hammered. Have a forward hit the advantage line at full speed from the tap and it's an easy 8-10 metres.

We have returned to old habits of forwards thinking they are halves instead of just running straight & hard.

We lost the penalty count 6 - 3

And Harry Grant might be the biggest diver in rugby league (pretty hard to do with Feldt still playing) ... he didn't sell his first one by grabbing his face for a shoulder contact ... but like all good divers altered his technique and sold his second.

This has been happening for 3 years now and nothing has changed. It kills me to accept it but the fact is, this is Who we are now.

Mediocrity, failure and giving up is in our culture, its in our DNA and its something the club now accepts.

Yes we'll look ok in patches and go on some good winning streaks but we're really just another team now.

The fact that many are not suprised by the result tonight proves that this is now who we are.

We always have ~40% possession against the Storm. It's not something to use as an excuse, it points to huge issues that we can't address

Riki was our top tackler tonight. Cobbo had a go and Turpin’s defence was what kept us looking respectable in the first half. Our coaching staff are looking mighty shaky after tonight.

That performance was simply ineptitude writ large. The halftime team talk obviously was the biggest load of shit Kev has ever delivered. Kev has taken a team that was flying a month ago and coached them to oblivion.

Some serious soul searching needs to be done before the Eels come to town on Thursday.
