POST GAME [Round 23, 2022] Broncos vs Storm

A really poor performance in what has been a season full of resurgence. But the many deficiencies still remain and tonight has proven that the Broncos have a way to go yet before they even think about being a title contender.

Some of that passive defence brought back some horrible memories. It was all so soft and it is so demoralising as a fan. But next week is a new week and they control their own destiny. I'm still confident they will eek out a playoff spot.

Near impossible for us to miss the 8 at this stage. Although the huge loss didn’t help. We will make 8, come in 7th or 8th and verse Rabbitohs or roosters and lose by 40
 
I'm predicting we won't make the 8 now, and don't deserve to. We've been shit for a month now - whether something happened in the dressing room, or the season is just too long for the young team, or...idk what it is, but we're done. We miss Patty in the middle sooo bad, and Herbie's strong carries and threat out on the left as well. Could use Gamble's mongrel. I was expecting a loss, but not that...gutted tbh. And fucking angry. I'll be off Kev if there's not changes next week, I know he's still a rookie himself but it's on him (and his assistants, some of whom have ridden the head coach carousel before) to turn this shit show around.

We just need to remember how great of a result that would’ve felt like this time last year

Oates needs help getting yards from our own end the loss of Herbies metres is really starting to show.. Cobbo occasionally but the others in the back 5 give him no help. Kotoni on the pay check he is on needs to do more.

Jake Turpin I thought was good tonight and I think the club should keep him in the 30 on minimum wage beyond this year as cover.

I did laugh at the Storm supporter sitting behind me call his team "cheats" ... it happened right after he said he'd never been to Melbourne

I knew a kid that took his ball and went home because we scored an arsey try where he knocked on cold from a bomb only he contested and we spread it wide. He was adamant some ghost knocked it on from our side. To be fair though, it was his ball.
