POST GAME [Round 23, 2023] Broncos vs Cowbyes

The cowboys would have chosen their white strip because of the heat, forcing us into our home jersey to avoid the clash.
Seen a few people on here mention the "heat" . It's certainly not hot up here at the moment. Mid 20's and hardly humid. Weather was perfect.

Press conference. He implied we did it tough in the first half (until he pulled Billy).
So “doing it tough” is all down to the hooker that was on the field at the time? Not the forwards we had, or the ones they had on or any other amount of tangibles?

Your schtick isn’t even funny anymore.

Sounds like you're onto something.

Well he was penalised...then overturned...because Arthars was given a Cat.1 HIA by the wind only.
I don't even understand how that is possible under the current rules?

Cows didn't captain challenge the decision, so why was the bunker able to intervene at all??

Are they going to rock up and over rule other decisions now... they can only intervene to advise if reportable foul play was missed, but are they just going to come in now and over rule anything they wish, because changing away from foul play has never been within their powers... are they allowed to review and rule on everything now

"sorry mate... bungler here... he didn't actually knock that on so you need to change your decision"...
"bungler here again... old mate was actually onside... you'll have to change your decision".

The use of the bunker is so fucking messed up... feels like they have so much power that they don't even know where their responsibilities end.

Another 'Broncos special' that hasn't been seen before and won't be seen again.

Can they do that though? I mean what a team put on is up to them but how can they dictate opponent’s to put a certain color?

If what you said is true, they’re weak gutted dogs because their NRLW side played with their dark blue jerseys early when the heat severity is more compared to a 3PM kick off.

Home team can pick whichever jersey they like and the away team must wear kit that doesn't clash. So that's usually dark vs light.

Doesnt always work, I remember the Knights wearing their awful fluro kit vs the Eels and both the Eels home and away kits would've clashed.

When is the weekly Annesley dribble scheduled for?

We'll now see players "self-reporting" to get the bunker involved.

"My good Sir, I implore you to stop play. I believe I may have illegally struck him in the head and may be deserving of some punishment".

Bunker has cleared contact but has spotted a knock-on by the attacking side.

"Oh my stars, how fortunate. That I had not illegally injured my opponent. Knock-on, you say?"

Am I remembering correctly a game a few years back where they pulled us up in an attacking position to go back downfield and blow a penalty for the opposition for foul play in the previous set that the bunker had spotted on review - and which subsequently never happened again?

Old Pete at it again, just waiting for the headline.
