You can like who you want, but stop taking jabs at Broncos (especially ones who are playing great).
It's the fake objectiveness which is annoying. You have a weird hate for the guy, so just own it.

Can I just say... I wouldn't change 1 memeber of our coaching team at the moment. What a job they have done. All the players have improved, they know their role, they improve areas of the game within games as well, they are well prepared, they're fit, and they enjoy their footy.
Perfect mix of coaching staff I believe and it's gotta be hats off to Walters and DD.
Yes Walters isn't the next gun coach in the media but he is a winner who loves the broncos and is humble enough to self reflect and improve himself. I find it extrodinary that blokes like JD, seibold, Adam obrien, ciraldo, etc etc etc etc seem to have this air of arrogance to them yet here you have a bloke who has won 6 proper premierships, SIX FFS, and he still takes on board advice and criticism without looking for excuses or blaming others.

Just on this, and take this for whatever you think it may be worth. But I had an interesting discussion this morning with someone who knows and speaks regularly with a player in our squad.
The player was asked last year about his thoughts on KW as a coach and said he was a great bloke but he was still on the fence re his coaching (he wasn't saying he was a bad coach, he just had not made up his mind yet). Same question this year, and he said now firmly on side that he is a good coach, said he has improved markedly in his coaching. The squad as a whole is united and happy. This seems to accord with everything I am seeing as well.

Does anyone else come close? Cam Smith has 3, I think Cronk has 4, Locky has 4. Can't think of anyone else still involved in league that gets close.

I'd say you would have had to play in the same era as Provan (and for the Dragons) to get close to Walters 6 (soon to be 7)

Again, we didn't exactly end on a high. Most of us here had a foot either side of the fence, with our genitals poised over the possibility of failure. It was reasonable reaction to the fade.

Billy has been close to our most improved player this season. He has been consistently good all season and has been one of the reasons we have stayed at the top of the ladder for the last couple of months. He deserves all the plaudits genus finally beginning to get. Billy Slater singled him out in ch9 this morning and gave him a big wrap.
