Round 23 - Bulldogs vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

If true I think a blessing in disguise. Norman must be Observed at fullback and Hoffman could use a freshen up.

Guessing that Hook will persist with Capewell.

Would love to see Norman back there in attack. Reality in this form: Norman gets peppered by bombs all night, drops a thousand and destory what little confidence he had left

I hope Hook puts Norman at fullback.

Got no issues with Norman playing at fullback but what about his groin injury? I'm guessing it would hamper him much more at fullback than at 5/8.

If his groin is that bad he shouldn't be in the side.

Not sure I'm all that keen on Norman at fullback. He seems to lack urgency.

Even though he's leaving at the end of the year, I reckon Beale is our best bet. He's the best "all round" fullback we have at the club at the moment.

Can't hurt to put Norman at fullback. His confidence has been well down in the halves so maybe he can rediscover it with a bit more time and space at the back.

As long as he doesn't die with the ball on the fifth.

i am pumped for this week dont care what anyone says.

I just can't see Hook putting Norman at the back.

Despite the lack of logic re. our bench, I would think Norman will stay there and Capewell to FB, especially since Capewell played there last time he was in the team.

Seems to me Hook is persisting with the Norman-Hunt experiment in the halves for this year.

hook is just trying to copy bennett 2006 to a T. norman to fb ala hodges to fb.

I'd have Beale at fullback, Whitchurch to the wing

I think fullback would be Norman's best position these days, especially if he gets a full offseason of practice there.

it will be his best position based on the way he has attacked this year. he would be far more effective running off someone.

defense is going to be a worry.

It's not like the Bulldogs make a lot of breaks or anything...oh, wait...

Really? Last season? Or are they referring to 2010? Outstanding is pushing it (other than his debut game).
