That's how bad it is

Only one who put his body on the line at all tonight. Last week we played touch footy in attack, this week in defence.

Yeah mate, his contact was unbelievable.

Some of you guys are such fairweather fans. Yes, that was a shit performance tonight, but honestly, it's hardly the end-of-the world. We're still 2nd (Sharks beat Roosters), at worst 3rd (Roosters beat sharks) at the end of this round. How is that season over?

We haven't been amazing lately, but we're definitely still contenders. I'd rather get the shit beat out of us now so we're less arrogant and disrespectful to our opponents in games to come. We fully expected to win tonight. That is why as soon as we let those early tries in, we were so rattled. We thought we'd have it easy. At the very least we won't do that from here onwards.

To be fair just because they don't think we can win this season doesn't mean they aren't passionate fans. Actually just means they care, especially when they are voicing their opinions.

Doesn't really matter what happens for the rest of the season.
What in ***** name are we going to do for a half next year?

Also for all the little things Blair does, he just doesn't make enough metres with the ball. 5 runs for 30 odd metres. That's not a quality prop's work. He probably averages under 70 or 80 a game.

I guess everyone was expecting more fight. Especially against the eels who bullied us only 4 weeks ago. No one expected us to fold and bend over the way we did. Boyd got cheap shot pushed over and he showed no mongrel at all to bite back. We looked scared and that's why people can't accept this performance.

New to this forum, but a longstanding fan.

Hard game to watch. Even at 36-22 we were somehow still in the match - which says as much about us as it does about the Eels.

That said, no way did we deserve to win or will we against more clinical teams. Razzle dazzle may work against the Titans, or any team for that matter. But when you're down 24-0 after 20 minutes, it might just be time to respect the ball a bit more and earn some points through hard work - not hot-potato. Clearly evidenced when Ese'ese simply ran over the top of them to score.

Boyd is a great ball playing fullback, one of the best. Sadly, he wasn't fit to shine someone like Lockyer's boots tonight - as a fullback or a captain. No effort in defence, too much whinging like Gallen every play and no leadership whatsoever.

One bad game, just like a great game, doesn't make a season. However, this game was full of worrying signs and at a particulatly bad time of the season.

Melbourne have our measure and sadly, it appears Parramatta do to.

We don't think the Broncos have a chance of winning the premiership, but we'll still all be watching and supporting all the games. It's different.

Needed that, this is the wakeup call the Broncos need. Attitude wasn't there tonight and they gave up after the first try. Anyway, it makes us closer to third, and the last three years third place has won. Maybe again?
I thought when they gave us a 12 point head start and then trampled us 4 weeks ago was the wake up call, did we sleep in and need another...?

Amazing to see Oates score a try from an inside ball from Roberts in the 80th minute.
You would think it would be Mead or Boyd that should have been there, not a left winger.
Tried he guts out as usual.

On a positive note, how good was that touch Roberts had for the last try? He's a god damn weapon grossly under utilised. JDs real assignment is how to come up with plays to unleash Roberts.
