Slater, Croft, Munster & Hoffman all out for the storm. Panthers SHOULD win this game which means they will more then likely finish 5th. If Canberra beat warriors and panthers win it means we will play dragons at home or away first week of the finals unless the dragons win really big which means we could play panthers.

I’m happy to play the dragons!

Melbourne doing their best to screw us even when they aren't playing us.

What's more is they are bringing players in from outside the named 21 man squad, which is only meant to be allowed if a specialist position gets injured at the last minute... not because they want to suddenly rest half their squad.

If they wanted to rest the players they should've made that decision earlier.

Why do NRL even bother making rules just admit that the storm make their own rules.

I hope panthers route them and roosters get the minor premiership

I’ve been slack and only getting tickets today and the game is looking pretty sold out. The best seats left are restricted view seats, can anyone shed some light onto how “restrecited” the view actually is from these seats?
Depends on the seat but the few l times l bought restricted view l had a hand rail obstructing the view of the field. It was not a huge deal for us as it did not obstruct much of the view.

Warriors only won by 4 points, which is beneficial for us.

We only need to win by 1 or more and hope either Dragons or Panthers lose to secure a home final.

The other good thing is we just have to win to avoid a trip to NZ in week 1

I prefer we don't get the home final.

We will have to play the majority of our games in Sydney. So I would prefer we go down there for the whole finals series and set up camp.

**** I hate Melbourne.

So is it best that we now tank in this game to finish 8th? That guarantees we duck the warriors and then we play either panthers (most likely) or the dragons. Even if we go all out and flog manly to jump up to fifth, there still is the potential of playing warriors at Suncorp which isn't ideal either.

if we need to duck teams, then we don't deserve to be premiers

We don't deserve to be premiers this year at all. But if we can arse it all the way to the grand final by avoiding Melbourne and the warriors, as these are the 2 teams I am scared of most, then I will take it. At this stage of the season we need a bit of luck and the draw could play out nicely for the broncos.

This year more then most shows the importance of winning games we should have won. There was at least 4 or 5 games this season that we should have won that we lost. We win those games and we are sitting in first place. Instead we could finish as low as 8th and facing the possibility of being knocked out first week.

Team has been far to inconsistent this year so far. If we can be consistent for the next month or so then we are a real chance!

We've had the hardest draw this year for the regular rounds, catching a break in the finals would be well deserved :)

If you want to be the best, you need to beat the best. We can beat any other team in the top 8, and have the best record against other top 8 teams. I don't relish the thought of playing the Warriors over the ditch, but it is what it is. We can win anywhere against anyone if we want it badly enough.

Cough storm cough.

I would just like us to get a home semi final.
Because of the Rugby test next saturday night I think we would get to play it next sunday afternoon.
Would be close to a sell out.
So go newcastle against the dragons today.

The real worry is Panthers and Dragons, insert Maloney and Widdop and they become a different opposition. No team play like duds for 3 weeks in a row. (perceived dud teams have been screwing up our season so far).

I want us to play the Warriors in Week 1 (pls beat Manly by 33 points to jump to 5th)
