POST GAME Round 3 - Storm vs Broncos

Moga has brought some of his tactics from the Cowboys filthy system it seems. Running players off the ball, taking players out, ect. It's funny how he gets called for it with us.

Good aggression from him at times.

I do have an issue with the way we come out of our own end..

Can we stop using the backs so much?

Get the fucking props onto the ball.

There are different exit sets for different situations. Every team uses the backs for exit sets, not just us.

We use our backs more, though.

Even when we have forwards there to take a hitup.

To me, we use our backs too much. I can understand using Oates, though.

He got called for 1. Could have been called for a couple more. There was one where he virtually tackled Vunivalu. It's a blight on the game. Was cheering the shot on Slater. Grub shot on a grub

Was it only one?? Felt like a lot more, tbf there are a lot of pennos to recall!

I find it hard to believe that anything we do is planned. Nothing we do looks deliberate.

I can only remember the Slater one in regards to running/taking people off the ball. He got penalised for a grapple kind of tackle on Cronk which was borderline

Any news on Munster? He stripped the ball off Oates in that tackle too, another shit call.

There's been a lot of complaints about our offense but we had no fucking ball in their 20 and when we did we looked threatening.

The killer was macca throwing a crash ball for McGuire after a quick play the ball when it had to be spread out the back. We were in front by 4 and they were playing like they had to chase points, because it was a rare opportunity inside their 20.

Tough week for me. Lost my job AND the Broncs get fucked over.

The whole game was played in Broncos half. they reach storm 20 metres. The whole sets was awful. They just don't know what to do.

An intercept and a one out run was all we successfully executed tonight in attack. I think that is why people are unhappy wih our attack...

We were camped in our half most of the night. Okay so why not kick early and long for once? Nope.

Why not spread the pill wide and attack the edges, rather than trying to dominate the ruck, against a team that specialises in doing just that, but has repeatedly proven vulnerable out wide? Nope.

Why not run our relatively small forwards in one out hitups straight at a larger and more dominant pack, when the refs are against us and our forwards are having little impact? Sure! Great idea! That is a recipe for success!

Confidence, Jason.

The Broncos were riding high after a spirited win against Canterbury and were looking to make a statement.

Fast-forward, the boys are coming off a heart-breaking loss and they clearly weren't switched on. Y'know the boys showed a lot of pride out there tonight, but clearly that isn't enough to win football games.

With Milford out next week, it's going to be interesting to see how this team plays. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they play better to tell you the truth.

What makes you think he will sit out?

It doesn't meet all of the criteria for a shoulder charge.

MRC cleared him when he did it to Hutchinson.

Yeah, not terribly confident of the boys winning at the moment. They defended like beasts tonight, but every other part of their game is and has been 'off'. Not sure that will be turned around in a week, but happy to be proven wrong.

Do you think Milford will get a week?
