Come on guys. Bird touching the ball is not a try. You need to get some kind of up and down force on it. He got a mere horizontal push.
The way I like to approach contentious decisions is to put the shoe on the other foot.
Would you have been ok if that was a tigers player, clearly knocking the ball on, be awarded the try?
Clearly I would have been ok with it. Are you suggesting that the downward pressure must reach a certain level of kilopscals befroe it's awarded. In my view this was a try. Just as in Gould, Johns , Fittler and Lockyers opinion it was a try.The way I like to approach contentious decisions is to put the shoe on the other foot.

I just woke from a nightmare that we didn't score a try and went to golden point only to be given a contentious penalty to win a dour contest against the tigers. lol thank goodness it was all a dream.

Arrgh. Is the ball in between his fingers and the ground. Surely if Gould and Johns award it that should be enough they will find any opportunity to rob the Broncos .Come on guys. The rules don't say that downward pressure needs to be on the top of the ball :) from the rulebook:

including two ex broncos
But the ball is already on the ground. You touch it boom Shakkalakker. were are going to have to disagree because I don't think it could be clearer.I’m saying he actually has to ground the ball
