There was a lot of talk that Staggs was going to be resigned on a big deal and the justification seemed to be that he would be playing at 5/8, and halves cost money. WTF happened there. Seems like the Bird contract all over again.

Listening to the press confidence I’m convinced kevvie doesn’t actually watch the game or have any idea what’s going on. What about line speed? There’s none. Teams have high completions against us because we put no pressure on defensively. And then with the ball, we have a hooker who makes 1 maybe 2, 5 metre runs a game and can’t pass to save his life. Like **** me. A lot of our errors are due to being under pressure from the defence, and 9 times out of 10 that pressure is because terrible and slow service from Turpin. I genuinely think dropping Turpin and having Paix there will fix the majority of our problems.

Funny thing is that fans were saying he was going to a worse team than the Broncos.

He was very good after returning. He's just forgot to play this year.

We're going to lose the next couple games anyway. Send Staggs back to Q Cup and tell him to make at least 15 runs and run hard, no pushed offloads. Send Cobbo back and say the same, don't try to beat the sideline or miracle flick back, go to ground and push for a fast play-the ball.

And send whoever were our starting back-rowers back to Q-cup as well and play whoever genuine back-rowers we have as depth, or find some from reserve grade.

They can watch us suffer demoralising losses and told to tough it out until they can do what they are told.

It's not really that scientific though, run harder than your opposition, play within the rules of the game and don't drop the ball, we can make thread after thread bashing Kevvie but he's not the one dropping the ball or missing tackles
