Reed would be dropped if I were in charge. Vidot, Copley and Maranta are offering way too much right now to be dropped.

Mal Meninga apparently said something about Copley being in line for a shot at Origin this year so I doubt he will get dropped. I can remember how much shit I copped at the start of the year for saying with Hodges out, it's the perfect time for Copley to step up and maybe get a look in.

Dropping Vidot would be crazy, the work he has been doing getting the ball out of our own end has made a real difference to our sets.

Copley and Reed have similar stats. As one example, Reed has missed 9 tackles this season, Copley 6

Hoffman has missed 15

Reed has offloaded 3 times, Copley twice.

Hoffman: 0

Yeah, didn't want to say it but glad you did @Mr Fourex . He or Dave Taylor with a brain (buckley's), maybe a Tim Grant, Ryan James or a young Sims type... Which jail did Parra pull Ma'u from? Surely there's a good cranky prop with some skills about? Would love to play Hurrell there...

How cranky do you want? Russell Packer will be out in a few years and he seems really cranky. Please please please, nobody put the thought of Tim Mannah in anyones head on here, or even Andrew Gee's. I think we have a star with Molo. Lloyd Perrett could be an alright depth buy. Suaia Matagi looks like a big, strong guy that would fit in well with us and Ken Evans and Sam Moa would be alright too.

Norman is just as woeful this year as he was when he was with us. The Eels two wins have come off the back of the other team playing terribly.

Ps - no way we should drop Vidot. His runs out of our end have been instrumental in our success.

Based on form, I'm tipping a comfortable win for the Broncs.

When is the team list announced? I am curious about who goes to qld cup this week to fit Hodges back in the team! If it's not Reed I really hope this puts pressure on him to perform.

The best thing about Hodges coming back is - we aren't sweating on his return to spark our team. Our backline has already had some pretty good success this year and at times has looked pretty damn classy. Hodges doesn't need to take everything on his own back, but his class will certainly improve the combinations and whatnot that we've already been building this year.

Hodges is a leader of the team and a calming influence, just having him in the team, even if he's not at his best, will lift everyone else. His passion and energy rubs off on the players around him. I hope he kills it this week and we can destroy the Eels with a dominant performance but I'll just be a happy with a win and no weak trys scored against us.
