Hope that article is taped to the locker of every Brisbane player before the game. We are more successful than them, have a bigger and more loyal fanbase and have fielded players that the tits would give their left nut to have. Also when has anyone associated with the Broncos said to the GC "we are better than you" in the 1st place. They are not showing respect by saying that about us.

Yeah I heard Jamal Idris mouthing off about the lack of respect they get compared to the Brisbane Broncos, its funny reading the Gold Coast Bulletin all the time, they make excuses for why they don't attend home games like it takes too long to get to games, when I go to games at Suncorp Stadium it doesn't take that long at all, neither does it take me long to get to Robina and I live on the north side of the Gold Coast. IMO the Gold Coast has the biggest population of fairweather fans out of all the teams in the NRL and it shows by how much they exaggerate their crowd figures.

Being a Bronco supporter on the Gold Coast was great :laugh: I don't like the Tim-Tams, I don't like their approach to buying a team (oh, wait..) and Bird just gives me the irrits.

Having said that, I'll back them over any NSW team...and they're looking semi-strong so far this year, which is good. But they'll choke...again.

Every club buys a team, also the term "buying a premiership" is a myth - if you don't buy good players you end up in a position like we are now.
