Great to see everyone get another go.
We are going to be tested under the highball again for sure.

Kinda stunned that Vidot has been retained. I wonder if that's by choice or lack of alternatives.

How many metres did Vidot make last week?

I think Vidot would have been picked because of a lack of alternatives..

By the sounds of it, Vidot didn't wow Bennett last week. If one of the reasons why he was dropped is because of the errors in his game then surely his error last week would have hurt his case..

So yeah, I think it's just a lack of options and he will be dropped if Hodges plays.

It's good to see Kodi is good to go.

I was worried he suffered a broken jaw last week.

If Bennett didn't want him he'd not reward him by naming him IMO. Name Hodges or reward a rookie.

Keen to see what Garbutt can do, hope he gets some more time on the paddock this week... I really hope we have a strategy on keeping RTS contained also. If we're going to put bombs up I would much rather see him take the ball uncontested and then belted seconds after his feet touch the ground rather than Reed and Maranta contest for the ball and either knock it on and give them an easy 20 or miss entirely and RTS carve up the broken field ala Ingliss style.

I'm not worried about RTS.

I'm more worried about Jennings and Tupou.

I'm very worried about RTS - did you see the try he scored last week? I've never seen that sort of pace in this competition. For mine he's the fastest runner in the NRL bar none, has superb footwork and height for the high ball. He's dangerous every time he touches the ball.

Jennings is only dangerous against lazy defence who leave holes in the line or are slow to mark up when the ball gets wide;

Tupou is a top flight winger yet who is really only a serious threat under the high ball, of which there will be lots. Mark up and don't leave your wing.

My greatest worry is giving Pearce and Maloney too much time to launch their set plays.

Even though Thaiday has been named to start, I'm expecting him to start from the bench again

For mine, Thaiday's passing game could play an important part in us winning this game. He is certainly not going to do much damage up the middle. The sooner and more often the ball gets to Hunt and Milford the better
