Loloahea & Mannering out, replaced by Wright & Gubb.

The Warriors are in shambles, surely they've just gotta bite the bullet and start Hurrell..

The way people talk about Hurrell is like he is the Thurston of the Warriors. He isn't going to fix their soft ruck defence and whilst he is very good on his day, when he wants to be average, things can get very messy around him especially in defence. I think the warriors read too many newspapers articles that said they were certainty's for top 4 and thought to themselves all they need to do is turn up. There is obviously a huge attitude problem at the club and some of the senior members need to be put under the pressure cooker a bit. Isaac Luke looks like Humpty Dumpty these days compared to his South's days.

It's past the point of worrying about defence, they're clearly incapable of defending. They just need to field the best 17 attacking players the possibly can and hope they can win the occasional game 40-36.

What's the point of playing a player that might score you 1 or 2 tries if he concedes 3-4 in return?

Re-read my post. Nobody on the Warriors is committed in defence right now, him not being good defensively is the least of their concerns, they need to be playing their 17 best players, not Blake Ayshford and Johnathan Wright.

Wests Tigers
Tim Grant will miss tonight's clash against his former side. Sauaso Sue shifts to prop with Dene Halatau rejoining the starting side. Joel Edwards comes onto the bench.

Melbourne Storm
Marika Koroibete and Young Tonumaipea are in severe doubt for Sunday's clash against the Titans. No official words on replacements, but expect Ben Hampton to come into the side with either Cheyse Blair or Tony Tumusa to slot in on the wing. Tohu Harris may also switch to centre, with Kenny Bromwich coming into the second row and Hampton starting off the bench.

The Warriors need to make a decision on Konrad. I have no idea why they re-signed him on a 3 year deal last year if the coach thought this lowly of him. If they can't organise a release than they have to bite the bullet and play him.

Of course that isn't going to solve the Warriors problem. Their ruck defence is awful and there is only so much coaching that can fix that. They need to bring in better cattle who will provide that attention to detail, similar in style to Michael Luck and Kevin Campion. For instance, Elijah Taylor would be a god-send for the Warriors right now. If they could bring him back, it would slowly but surely turn the tide.

However, in a time of have and have nots, they've got to play their best hand. To draw an analogy, they remind me of somebody on a 'diet' that orders a diet coke with their Double Quarter Pounder. Who are you trying to fool? If you're going to go all out, go all out.

Still plenty of rumours of Hurrell wanting to go to the Titans as a mid-year shift.

He may want to but it doesn't appear to be happening, at least not this year.

Bite the bullet.

Any news on who's coming into the Manly side?

Looks like the Tigers just lost Mitch Moses.

Quad strain the warmup apparently.

Tigers fluke a try with Tedesco getting simultaneous putdown.

Tigers in again.

I'm barely interested in this game. Seems Souths are too.

Souths look like they've trudged in after a three day bender. There's no conviction in anything they're doing.

If Sammy B, Cook and Inglis get some yardage, maybe they can work their way back into the game.

And... Tigers in again. Sad effort from GI.

Inglis lets it bounce.

Straight into the hands of Brooks. Tigers in for their third. 15 gone.

Coach Michael Morgan/Josh McGuire looks real impressed.

Rabbits are out there not giving a stuff!

Souths suck ... They may as well plan mad monday now...
