[Rumour] The Hunt for Karmichael's return to Broncos.

Seriously, why does anybody bother watching that abominable NRL360 show anyway ??

It's a friggin' joke !!!

In the moles section of RLW today he reckons we are set to sign karmichael for next season. Apparently the bulldogs offered him big money but he turned them down because he doesn't want to move to Sydney. He reckons we have been in secret talks for months and we are set to sign him with no announcement to be made until later in the year.

It's just the mole though so take it with a grain of salt I guess

Wouldn't really surprise me, tbh. I can see Hook thinking that Barba, K.Hunt, Milford, McCullough would be a good spine, but in reality, unless Karmichael has magically developed a Cronk type of kicking game in AFL, he's going to be a glorified Hoffman at Five-Eighth.

I guess I wouldn't completely be against the idea of at least trying Karmichael at Five-Eighth along side Milford, all I hope is that if it doesn't work for 2015, Hunt is moved to the Wing / Centres and we purchase a top-tier half to partner Milford in 2016.

Think of the possibilities.. (In reality we'd only have enough cap room for this if Hoffman, Hannant, Reed, B.Hunt move on, and Karmichael comes cheap)

1. Ben Barba
2. Karmichael Hunt
3. Dale Copley
4. Justin Hodges
5. Daniel Vidot
6. Anthony Milford
7. Daly Cherry-Evans (c)
8. Josh McGuire
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Corey Parker
11. Alex Glenn
12. Sam Thaiday
13. Matt Gillett

14. Martin Kennedy
15. Corey Oates
16. Francis Molo
17. Joe Ofangehaue

Karmichael would be wasted on the wing IMO. You'd want him somewhere where he can use his ball playing skills. So with that spine, either in the centres, or bulking up and in the back row.

I believe Hunt did say that he never wants to play against the Broncos, so if he was to return, it would only be to us I reckon. It's not like he wouldn't get the money elsewhere.

Would never have him in the back row, I can see him at left centre though, pushing Dale to the wing, I guess.

I'd bet Hunt to be a better 5/8 than any we have on the books, can kick and most definitely can pass. He won't be the liability in attack everyone thinks he will be, if we had Hoffman out and Hunt in we would look so much better.

Can't really say for sure that we'd look better, Hunt could come back and start right where he left off, or he could come back and be a shadow of himself, only time will tell (He may not even come back, for that reason)

A lot of people dog Karmichael but let's look at what he has to offer.

1. Very well rounded ball handling skills.
2. Kicking game which has only been improved by the AFL experience
3.Toughness in defense and overall courage running the ball
4.Some leadership abilities
5. The experience having won a grand final.

All in all, pretty solid skill set. I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Don't we all... Karmichael aint bad either.
