Lets just wait and see what comes of it. Can be arrested and not charged although given the nature is DV it would be very unlikely if allegations were made that they were not put before a court. Particularly with the bashings the QPS have had in coronial inquests in recent years.
If its the first incident and he is the respondent he is likely going to have a DV Application for an order or a Police protection notice taken out. Neither are a criminal offence regardless unless an order already exists and he has contravened the order. Lets just wait and see.
I'd say he is named this week while its all hosed down but Oates will come on his wing.

DV needs to be zero tolerance. He needs to be out of the club ASAP.
