I don’t know if I have unanimous support, but I’d like to deliver a message to the Cronulla Sharks on behalf of BroncosHQ.
Throughout this year, I and many of my colleagues have been critical of your captain Paul Gallen. From time to time, I may have had a problem with repeatedly avoiding suspension for stiff-armed high tackles, diving, elbows, scratching, testicle-grabbing, grapples and facials. Some people may even have made video evidence of me calling your captain a wanker.
I’m not apologising for any of this.
But for Friday night I hereby grant Paul Gallen for one-week only the Official Broncos HQ Free Pass. That means whatever he wants to do, for one night only it is totally OK. Any dirty play that he’s managed in the past and any new tricks he may have, go for it, no questions asked. Maybe try that Achilles tendon manipulation thing that Nathan Brown was talking about earlier in the year, that sounded interesting!
Hey, even some of your nice guys should join in. Fraser Anderson and Luke Douglas seems quite well behaved, that won't really be necessary on Friday.
Go finish 12 on 12 again Sharks and Storm , you deserve each other.
