Some really great analysis in that video, not that I was really concentrating. Who was it that was commenting on how gorgeous Danika mason is, early this year?

Kaufusi for mine probably won’t lose that spot and in now world can you convince me Nanai deserves a spot on the bench with his likely null impact when Arrow is probably already a better genuine second rower and has that spot covered. You also have blokes like Carrigan, Foegler, Mo, Cotter, Collins all vying for a bench spot. Nanai’s selection would be well premature for mine and would reek as desperation.

While I agree and I wouldn't pick him, 0% chance he gets dropped. I think Kaufusi/Capewell is pretty much a lock. Fifita should be our only edge forward on the bench.

This is what I'd pick, while also including the people I think are locks such as Coates and Kaufusi.

If we pick Kaufusi we can’t complain when we lose because of a dumb error or a penalty that was completely unnecessary. Like the last 15 years I’d struggle to support this team. Origin teams should be picked on form every year for entertainment purposes.

Kaufusi is very average, but I don't recall many shockers he has had for QLD. I wouldn't have picked him for many series at all, but I don't think it's a shocker if he plays this year.

That last sentence is just wow. If you don't care about the result and only want entertainment, maybe you should focus on the all stars game where the fans pick the sides and nobody cares about the result.

Then you haven't been paying attention. The bloke is a failure at Origin level.

And yeah, I don't really care much for Origin these days. It's ruined too many Broncos seasons. The Storm players and style have ruined the spectacle, entertainment and quality of these games. I do like that you just went for the entertainment part and not the "on form" part though..

Picking on form isn't as ridiculous as picking 'for entertainment' , that's why I went for that part.

Form should always come into it, but I'll take origin form ahead of NRL form. If we went on NRL form from the current year only guys like Nate Myles and Gagai would have barely played. It's why I'll consider a bloke like Collins this year even with average NRL form, and I'd never consider Jarrod Wallace ever again no matter how good his NRL form is.

Fotuaika has to be in the side, he was massive last series
 
I thought Collins was huge for QLD in his 3 games in 2020. I think he's better suited to the bench than Mo as well.
