I fully support the stripping of premierships. They are no longer valid as they were won through a system of cheating and disloyalty.

The players are an unfortunate by-product of this punishment (assuming, for arguments sake, that they had no idea), but that's life.

An entire team is punished when one player gets suspended, just as an entire club is punished when members of the management stuff up. Such is the nature of professional sport.

Hope those responsible are sacked and never work again in any sports related field.

If the ARU has any balls they will terminate Waldron's contract immediatly.

Broncos knocked out of the finals 3 times basically because they were able to keep all thier good players whilst Broncos lose valuable players each year because we cant afford to keep them. This is actually a good point when you think that we've been knocked out the final series the last few years by Melbourne. Would we have done any better if they weren't rorting the cap? We'll never know but shit it's a missed opportunity...Their reign is now tarnished forever.

The Footy Show will be compulsory viewing tonight.
 
I agree with the premierships being stripped.

I feel for the players and the fans but those premierships were won by cheating. Every other club in those years was robbed.

This is huge news, obviously.
My first thought is that it's terrible. RL was building towards being great in Victoria, and this has absolutely shut that down.
Second thought, the above point is solely a result of the Melbourne Storm and their cheating. So, I can't feel any sympathy for them. I feel sorry for all the fans in Melbourne who have to deal with this, but as for everyone involved with the rort: a big f*ck you.
 
I want the names of the players who were recieving extra payments, They must of none that it wasnt aloud and that it was cheating. I want their names read out in public and they should be made to apolagise and told they cant play for the rest of the season. I Love rugby league and to think that them scum of the earth cheated every other team out of four grand finals makes me feel so pissed off.

I love Queensland aswell and i know that when it comes to high profile players recieivng extra cash i think all queensland supporters should brace themselves because all there high profile players are mostly queenslanders

Everyone should check out the footage of Gallop at the press conference. He's sick to his stomach...
 
Who knows, Maybe Manly and us were also over the caps. Seems like it is fairly easy to hide..
 
My jaw dropped when I saw the press conference. Literally.

I'm just so disappointed and saddened for the sport, rugby league goes through so much crap and to have a club willingly cheat in a calculative manner is just disgraceful.

Look at the players who have left us. if we are over the cap then Locky needs to loan me his Gold undies.
