This is something like the team we would be fielding this weekend had we blatantly cheated the salary cap like the Storm... would they have won in 07 and 09 against this side? no chance in hell

Do I feel sorry for the storm for being stripped of their premierships? no
Do I feel sorry for the fans? a little... but i feel more sorry for parra and manly fans

Must admit, it was pretty obvious something was going on... compare 06 grand final teams, storm still have the same core group of players... we have had our side ripped apart, we have what, 3 players left from that team?

I just got home and saw this. This is incredible. The NRL have sent a very very stern warning to every other club. I applaud the NRL for this but, holy crap.. amazing.

The other 15 clubs need that money as well, so.. THANKS STORM!

lol @ the storm, bastards! Broncos knocked out of the finals 3 times basically because they were able to keep all thier good players whilst Broncos lose valuable players each year because we cant afford to keep them. Enjoy the wooden spoon and stripped premierships, you deserve it. That would make the broncos the most successful team in the 90's and now the 00's :) Thats my idea of justice for the Broncs. But sad day for RL really, i feel for all the clubs, players and fans, even the storm players as much as i hate them grubs.

I actually agree with AP. I don't think the premierships and minor premierships should've been stripped. Prizemoney paid back, sure, but unless there's hard evidence the players were explicitly aware of the scam then they should have no blame apportioned to them.

And to be told your achievements as a sportsman for the last 4 years are null and void is way worse than any financial punishment you could give them.

I feel sorry for the players. I really do.

They still have their Origin glory. 8-)
