Harris and Watson both pulled out of the running for the squad. Gee I hope Marsh can last a test match. He hasn't played in a month and he is straight back in the side. A bit if a risk IMO. Still we persist with Punter and Hussey, it is clear these new selectors have no balls at all. Starc still in the squad, I hope Hilfy plays he has bowled well this summer and looks to have improved.

Yeah it's terrible.
Ricky Ponting is (was) one of my favourite cricketers (only Dean Jones & Matt Hayden come before him) but he really needs to step aside. He is doing a Mark Waugh when he kept Hayden out of the side back in the day, come on Punter. or Even HUSSEY ffs!

For what reason?? I wasn't so sure either but watching him bat in Thursday night he looked pretty good. Another bowling option would be handy but having a quality top order is a must.

I thought it was a great day of cricket. I was entertained all day and the momentum kept swinging, id say its pretty even right now.

Few dodgy decisions but that's cricket, personally I'm not fussed either way re. the referral system. You take the good with the bad, very unlucky for Huss but there was an LBW decision, siddle I think that went our way so it evens out.

Can't wait for tomorrow! looking forward to seeing how our bowling attack performs particularly Pattinson!
