Not every country/tv broadcast has hotspot or the best super slowmo. Also hawkeye is allegedly not accurate enough.

It's simple the ICC should step in and sort it

ICC should sort it out but if Australia has all the gear we should use it. No sense in getting the wrong decision unless we really have no other choice.

Ok, firstly I will say that I fully acknowledge that it shouldn't have been out in the first place. But I really think that if the DRS is not in place, it shouldn't be in place at all. Even for the umpires. No doubt in my mind that the Indian cricket hierarchy told the officials that they can still use their referral system, hoping full well that it would advantage them.

The Indians don't believe the technology they use for DRS (hotspot etc.) is accurate enough where as you can see a No Ball or a Run Out with the naked eye on replay.

It was a huge buzz kill though.

The thing that shits me is why can't the umpire make the decision at the time? They keep touting this take the good with the bad as it evens out, fmd they got 2 wickets that weren't and dravid gets a life.

All I can say is good on piddle for pitching it up instead of going for some chin music

It doesn't seem right that the umpire can review a no ball but we can't review a poor decision from the umpire. Oh well that is cricket lets hope India get a few howlers and we get to see how they like it.
