I see it as his last chance. He may not even get a bat which will be a blessing. Haddin will get a rest in the ODI series with Wade getting the gloves. If Wade performs well he could book his trip the the Caribbean

I think they'll want that as their swansong and a bit of redemption. I'm not a fan of it either but if they keep up their current form you can't exactly force them out.
