Had a great day at the Gabba, wonderful all round. I gotta say, I'm a Pietersen fan after today. The way he interacted with the crowd was great fun. He could dish it out but he could take it as well and made sure he signed anything kids and others bought him, except a South African flag. Haha

I reckon the last thing you want to do when you're a prime target for our crowds is try to ignore / resist it ... Playing along and seeing the funny side of their jibes is definitely the best way

Yeah without a doubt. He took it all but when the swearing at him started he just politely told the guys leading it to change it slightly because of the children and the crowd responded. It was really good stuff.

Well done Australia! A very fitting way to win. Australia were by far the better team and deserved to wrap this match up in four days.

IMO Mitchell Johnson was by far the best (that's not to sinus the performance of Clarke, Warner and Lyon) but it was fitting that Johnson would get his fifer and caught/bowled the last wicket of the match.

For someone who gets bagged a fair bit, I think Haddin deserves a bit of credit. His partnership with Johnson in that first innings saved us and gave the bowlers something to work with. Chipped in with another 50 in the second innings too.

Very true. I have been a big critic of him but he has won me over since his return
