On topic... I think we can win the final 3 and it all comes down to the Knights game. if Norman and Wallace can click and gain some confidence we will take the Warriors.

I very rarely agree with you but I agree with this, I don't think we will make the finals without winning this game.

Seriously, do yourselves a favour everyone. Accept that the finals this year are gone. We won't be there. It's a positive. The club needed to miss the finals in order to see things for how they are.

We have critical flaws in our coaching and tactical structure. We don't, have never, coached our defences to make the most of the ruck rules regarding holding down. Other teams do. We don't work on our opponents' ability to offload. Opponents do.

It's time there was a change from the Wayne Bennett park-footy style coaching of "let's forget what they do let's just concentrate on what we do, and tackling around the legs is orsm". Get with the program. The Broncos aren't blessed with a squad of genius that can overcome tactical and coaching frailties anymore. We need to get every advantage we can get.

We don't do it.

Missing the 8 is a blessing. It's a wake up call.

Go the Warriors. Put us out of our misery and let us start examining what's wrong with our footy club, so we can fix it and, as Joolia "Lobeous" Giltard might say, move forward.

And yet the Saints defend so well ? One thing you can say about WB coached side is they rarely had a soft underbelly, we do. Being physical up the middle is the first step to winning games, our D wouldn't make an impression on a soft pillow.

Canberra will not be the soft result that some might think. St George will know they've been in a dog fight and are no certainties. dexter is correct insomuch as we've been soft for the last two years under the new coaching regime. Coxy, inexplicably still blames Bennett !!! I've been under the impression that this incarnation was Ivans choice and playing Ivans style, but Coxy seems to think we've got to get rid of the Bennett influence. Gee, when does Ivan cop some blame ??

The team needs to take ownership of its parlous position and I don't blame Henjak for the preparation for this game but it's two seasons we've had to examine his performance. Only a true one eyed and passionate supporter would consider it successful. At best it's been mediocre .

Just looks like getting harder and harder. Canberra have cleaned up St George, so they may very well still be live trying to make the 8 in the last game. Plus, from what I have seen they are in far better form than us at the moment.

well lets concentrate on making the 8 before worrying about how well we'll go if we do make it..

looking at the last two games for each of the teams in contention, as long as we beat the raiders we should be ok. eels losing today is good news. eels and raiders for and against is pretty terrible, and the knights face melbourne at home in the last game of the season.. you'd think the storm would turn up for their last game together. the knights are away to the dragons in the last round.. and you'd think the dragons will want to stop losing games by then.

not really convincing but hey.. look at how well all these other sides are going with their seasons on the line. we can pull it together

Truth is pretty simple. We are facing a big team, on their patch. At any time at all, facing the Warriors at home has been a challenge. This time we will be, at the very least, seriously hampered even with Lockyer in. We are not in good form and the Warriors form is superior. It will be an upset if we win and that would be according to just about anyone.

Should Canberra beat the terrible Cowboys ,who must be thinking about the season finally being over, combined with a loss for Brisbane in New Zealand a narrow points differential will probably favour Brisbane, just.

Last place in the eight decided at Suncorp, in the final round against the giant Raiders in winning form. Broncs sure have a mountain to climb.

With the Knights playing twice in the last round they are a good chance of making the final.
