Wasn't it fucking typical that Kuyt scored a tap in the other night? [icon_lol1.

For all of Spain's domination, they haven't really done anything.

He certainly offers a lot more than Villa does in a lone striker role.

Wow just wow!

Torres was rubbish but that comes down to having no match practice Spain will benefit from him getting on for as long as he did. Also I thought Xabi Alonso was rubbish man that guy just shoots from anywhere, I think he reckons coz he has smacked a few from halfway that he has the right to do it but he blazed away when he had open guys around him a bunch of times tonight. Thought they played well until the last third and with Torres starting next to Villa and having some time under his belt I think they will be fine.

Alonso wasn't rubbish. He was one of Spain's best.

Continually kept the ball moving wide and putting players into good position.

If anyone was rubbish, it was Iniesta. Wasted everything and has absolutely no guts.

Oh I agree about Iniesta he doesn't look nearly 100% and did waste alot of ball, he is much better served next to Xavi in midfield as well.

I suppose starting Torres on the bence was a good idea considering he had a major injury only a couple of months ago (maybe less?) and they are saving him for later on in the tournament.

But fark Spain, what are you doing????!!!

Wow thats certainly upset the applecart. We could have the two favourites, and most peoples picks for the final, meeting in the last 16. I think they need to drop biscuits, bring Iniesta back alongside Xavi and put Torres upfront with Villa. And if Torres isn't fit enough to start then bring in Cesc instead.

-----------------Casillas------------------
Ramos----Pique-----Puyol---Capdevilla
-------------Senna/Alonso---------------
----Silva----------Xavi-------Iniesta----
-----------Villa-----------Torres----------

Basically the side that won the Euro's in 2008 and I am sure that is what will run out once Torres is fit enough to start.

I though Navas looked very dangerous when he came on. Even though he couldn't get any of his crosses to his teammate, he was providing spark.

Fabregas spent the whole game on the bench as well. He injured?

Nah he is just stuck behind Xavi and Iniesta basically, they can't really afford to play all 3 of them as well as Alonso.

He's better than Alonso IMO.

Why didn't they bring him on after Iniesta got hurt?
