Trial #3 Warriors vs Broncos - POST GAME DISCUSSION

We've got Milford coming next year so that solves our halves problem long term. This year we just need to make the best out of what we've got.

The Raiders have until round 13 to change Milfords mind... and trust me they will be working hard at doing just that.

Not sure where a win will come from with this current crop of incompetents. Not surprising at all though considering the mediocre roster, no chance of a playoff spot this year, will struggle to avoid the cellar and that isn't an exaggeration. Hook is preparing his resignation speech.

What is the email address for paul white, does anyone have it, if so could they pm it to me please?

Re: Any reasons Broncs WON'T win wooden spoon?

This is probably the most danger we have ever been in of being spoon contenders, and that makes me ill.

Re: Any reasons Broncs WON'T win wooden spoon?

I'll give you a few reasons why we won't win the wooden spoon

1. Steve Price
2. Griffin won't be coach for the whole year
3. I trust the people that talked up how good Corvo is when they didn't have any idea or proof to back it up.

If Milford was serious about being closer to his sick father, then that will not be a problem. I guess we'll find out..

Although he will be a good purchase i really don't believe he would solve anything, Hunt is rubbish and i don't believe milford would make him look good.

Get to the opposition 20, and then have no idea how to score

Its the Broncos of 2013 continuing on unchanged

Unacceptable, and accountability lies with the head coach, like it or not

His work at the Storm and with the Australian team counts for nothing I guess...

1910, I am interested in your take on what happened out there today. I am hardly the sky is falling type, and I know it was a trial, but it was the last trial before the season kicks off, and to be honest, we looked like a complete rabble. It did not look like anything has been successfully achieved to address some of the glaring holes in our defence and attack that were quite apparent last year.

Is that the case or am I misreading things? If that is what we are going to dish up, I have to say I have joined the band wagon and both Griffin and Kearney need to go. We need a coach with this record:-

Dally M Coach of the Year 2002
NRL Grand Finalist 2002 , 2009
Challenge Cup Winner 2006 , 2007 , 2008
Super League Grand Final Winner 2006
BBC Coach of the Year 2006
World Club Challenge Winner 2007

Yep, first choice which is why he kept picking the likes of Whitchurch, Oates & Drew infront of him...

Fitness isn't our issue, just about everything else is but very few teams would have had anything left in the tank after all that possession against them

Hey @Mt Smart , you've got to be impressed with that trial, surely after today's efforts it will be a very promising year for the Warriors.
Yes pleased with our new players giving the shape we need , big difference when you're not solely reliant on a Johnson drift side ways skip step and double pump pass.
Hard to know what to make of the result though. I agree with people who have suggested that is about as well as the Warriors ever play ( the measure for me is they all played useful games , no inconsistent players to compensate for ).
I'm loath to comment on the Broncos because I don't know them as well as you all other than to say :

The forward pack looked small , they looked very disjointed , individual effort was wasted because they looked like there was no game plan.

Frustrating. A lot to sort out this season. Is there a serious chance that Griffin might be sacked ? if that continued surely he's gone.

...and yet we won't win it. I have very little confidence in some members of the coaching staff etc but I seriously don't think we'll be serious contenders for the spoon.

Re: Any reasons Broncs WON'T win wooden spoon?

Fitness didn't seem like the issue today, but we can't really gauge that until a few rounds into the season proper. Considering the possession the Warriors had today, there isn't many if any teams that would have had much left in the tank.

All aspects of attack and defence is the issue right now.
