You have to be shitting me.

Just because he was a good player doesn't mean he's going to be a good coach. If this happens, we better bloody get Bellamy.

I reckon the only way it will happen is if we have Bellamy's signature on a contract .

Well hopefully the Broncos management stop pissing around and get the signature, the last thing we need if this unfolds is no Henjak, and no Bellamy.

Grrr, I'm so angry today!

I wonder what the odds are of Folkes becoming the next Brisbane coach, just putting it out there...

If he was the last coach on earth IMO.

[icon_lol1. I actually said that last night to my husband.Folkes to the Broncs and Murray to the Storm.Urgh!!What an awful thought.

Daniel Anderson would be a much better option. In fact if it meant Kevvie for a year to get Bellamy, I'd rather just have Anderson for 3yrs and get him signed up now.

We should get Chris Anderson.

I hope thats a joke?

Daniel Anderson I could live with, but Chris Anderson prooved that he is over it by what he did at the Roosters.

Daniel Anderson WTH?He killed the best chance the Warriors had of getting a GF.Too much of a Smith replica.

He put them in a Grand Final! The Warriors ruined that chance.

[eusa_naugh [eusa_naugh [eusa_naugh He did the same thing with that brilliant side that year that Smith did with Parra. He played the Grand Final before the day happened. Those two teams should both have walked away both with GF,s in those respective years if it hadn't been for the coaches overplaying the big event too early.

Riiiight. Both teams were hot and cold. Still are.

Little bit harsh blaming the coach for their lack of skill on the night.

What a ridiculous thing to say Kee. The Roosters were always going to win that GF, they were head and shoulders above every other team IMO. The Warrios had a good first half but they simply couldn't finish it off - The Roosters were the better team at the end and that's about it really - How you can blamr the coach for thay is beyond me.

Smith with Parra is a totally different story. Smith did it year in, year out for god knows how long.
Remember when he did it in 1992 & 1993 with the Dragqueens icon_thumbs_u In 1993 ST George were the favourites, [eusa_clap.gi thanks Smitty 8-)

The Roosters were almost unbeatable in the second half of 2002, the Broncos were the only team to really shake them and that was at the penultimate hurdle. The Warriors were so unpredictable and its a credit to Andersen to get as much consistency out of them as he did that year. To say he is like Smith makes no sense, Andersen made the Warriors entertaining and very competitive Smith revolves players in and out the door and outside of 2001 has never had a side that should have won the title. 92 and 93 the Broncos side was far superior on paper to what Smith had.

Anderson pretty much transformed the Warriors from being a club grazing down the bottom of the table to a top eight contender.

Walters doesn't cut it as a coach, as much of a legend as he is, he's not good enough, not even for one year.

Warriors were a brilliant side that year.He treated them the wrong way the week of the GF just as Smith did with the 2001 Parra side.
Parading them around doing all the celebrating before they had gone on the field. There GF was already won in their heads. That is and always has been my opinion on those Grand Finals. The wrong teams won.
They are both stats, computer type coaches and one thing I love about our coach is he doesn't sit up there in his tie and write down graphs and sh**.Anderson learnt under Smith.Hate him at our club mainly cos I never ever liked the guy anyhow.

Off subject BUT:
Was only thinking last night seeing Elliot out in the crowd standing .That was how WB was,in among the crowd sitting until he got that glass room at Suncorp. He loved to be out with the people.Sad really.

You think he did that? I'm sorry but you really have no idea what the club and country went through do you?

The hype was NOT their coach, if I remember correctly, I remember him stating that it wasn't over yet, and they couldn't get ahead of themselves.

The NZ public made all the hype, along with the mad butcher. And rightly so. For the NZ public who waited all those years, they have every right to be excited.

To blame a coach for the actions of a whole country is really unfair. Hell, most of Australia were happy they got in too, because it had simply been so long.

Wrongly put sorry.I didnt mean the Warriors were paraded.Quite the opposite.Parra were though. They had a huge week with the public.

Anderson though did it quite the opposite and bought the guys out here far too late.He is the coach and he does what he thinks is right at the time and this was his first GF but to his own admission he said he would do it differantly next time.

Hell I was excited when the Warriors got in.For not to win that Grand Final was devestating.(my sis in law is a kiwi). They deserved it and it was there for the taking.I do blame the coach and of course I don't blame the fans or the country.

Love to see them get another go.Hopefully we will meet them in the near future.
Bugger! That would mean they would lose another one. [icon_wink
