Even if he was coming, Boyd would never say anything to the media. :laugh:

I don't want Boyd at the club.

It wouldn't be the worst signing in the world and his versatility would come in handy but just worry about his price tag and would rather spend that money elsewhere.

Sort of feel like he'd be like an Anthony Mundine type purchase. Handy but not valuable.

Boyd's stint at the Knights has been mixed at best. By his standards 2012 and 13 were massive disappointments as well with only the odd good game here or there.

Let him move to the Gold Coast...or sign him as the media manager for shits and giggles.

To be fair, every single time in the past when an article has popped up about Boyd following Bennett, it's been spot on every time. I think people have a good reason to get worked up..

I think there is a fair chance he won't. I think there is a fair chance he may not play league again, at least not for a while.

Checking into a mental health clinic isnt about getting chucked some pills and told to harden up, no one knows what will be happening with Boyd, much less you.

I'm sick of the meltdowns based on assumptions. We had the whole "Beau Scott will be coming"shit based on nothing, then Mason, now boyd.

Everyone carries on like Bennett loves Boyd and will take him everywhere regardless while over looking the circumstances.

Bennett looks after Bennett and does what is best by Bennett and the team he is coaching.

When Boyd followed him to the dragons it was because he was told by the broncos they didn't want him. Bennett knew he was a good player and knew he would be able to take him to st merge for cheap (you lose a fair bit of bargaining power when you openly admit your current club doesn't want you).

When he took him to newcastle he was arguable the best fullback in the game, why wouldn't he take him?

If Boyd comes back here it will be because Bennett feels that he brings something this current squad doesn't have, not because he has to bring him

I understand the point you're making, but I can't agree. It's akin to constantly stressing about, or working yourself into a tether over thinking that you MIGHT have cancer.

Let's look at the things we have and be grateful for them. A good young team. Skilled players in key positions who are still very young.

Of course nothing is perfect and many things may happen that a lot of people won't like, but at the end of the day, we (well I do anyway) support the Broncos. Not a few players who play for the Broncos, or a coach who coaches the Broncos. The team as a whole, regardless of players or coaches.

But hey, that's just me. :takdir:.

Boyd is only there because we have no wingers, because we have been winning, and because Inglis has single handedly put him in for about a dozen untouched tries. hes not a great winger, hes great at being there to put the ball down when inglis gives it to him with no defenders in front of him and the try line 10 metres away.
