WCC: Broncos vs Wigan

Yep, I only threw Sarginson in as a best-case scenario but word is he's training and I wouldn't be surprised to see him thrown in. If he's missing then I suspect Joel Tomkins will push out and Wane would move Bateman off the bench. Unsure who would come in exactly at that point but I'm sure they'd cherrish the opportunity.

All the best against Huddersfield. Will be interesting to see how the team goes without Matty Smith and whether or not they can still improve on the game against Widnes which was frustrating to say the least.

If Sarginson doesn't play then its Tomkins or possibly Bateman to centre and then Sam Powell or Connor Farrell onto the bench.

The Widnes game was more than frustrating ! It was freezing and at 16-0 up I thought we had it in the bag. We always struggle there for some reason.

Huddersfield can go either way, obviously I am hoping for a Wigan win.

Can I just say it's awesome to have you on board WiganWarriorsFan

I've been a Wigan fan since ARL '96 or '97 on PC. I'm always trying to watch as much Super League as possible so I'm pretty excited for this game.

It was like clockwork!

I remember that game and that incident very clearly. After Bowen scored the try I went back to the video
and I noticed that Andrew McCullough had packed in at lock. As the Cowboys deliberately screwed the scrum to their right, taking the Broncos pack to their left, McCullough still had his head in the scrum as Bowen raced past him on the right. A more experienced lock/backrower would have and should have been alert that close to the line . Anyway, just a gripe about the modern way players just form scrums.

I think Bowen pulled that trick on us two years in a row.
Nothing compared the Slater and Thaiday scrum incident. That sort of thing almost makes you want to give up on the NRL.

Thank you very much and also thank you to Broncos4life.

I will stick around, at least til you smash us back to the stone age by 50 points, then I will run to my cave and hide :takdir:

Seriously, I do watch NRL games but my knowledge of your comp is woeful compared to you guys. I enjoy it though, its great. To be honest I wouldn't mind moving to Brisbane.. a friend of mine from Wigan did it a few years back, he just became as Aussie citizen.

Unfortunately, he is a SOCCER fan ! The fool !!

Anyway, must dash as we kick off our first home game in 3 hours and I want a few pints before going to the ground

Had this been 2011, I'd be open to that being possible, but I'll be surprised if we win convincingly. We love to derp it up lately. A lot of new faces, could go either way really.

In saying that, I have no idea about the quality of SL teams, I usually just play 'spot the ex-pat'

You can love both (and the NFL too)... I do.

Welcome mate, and keep posting!

First casualty of the England trip- Milford got off the plane wearing shorts.

Can't be that cold surely.

Well i am just in from the game 5 minutes ago and we were poor. Very lucky to win.

If we play like that against you guys its going to be a little embarrassing.

I need to watch the replay back on tv to comment fully but we are shaky in defence and clueless in attack, although we played with no 6 or 7.

How can I watch this game in the ACT? I checked the TV guide and its not anywhere. I have access to Foxtel Go through a mates account will that have the game guys?

Is it actually on Fox or Gem? I've seen reports of both and can't find it on either guide.
