Mate, you can't keep them all. We have obviously chosen Dearden as our long term halfback, you can't expect everyone to stick around.
And he came in and performed extremely well at 18. I can't recall him missing a tackle, he's been kicking well (when given the opportunity), he's organising the side extremely well for a young play, he ought to have had a few more assists if his outside players could hold the ball, and best of all Milford looks way better with him in the side. Obviously Payne has been the revelation this season but Dearden isn't far behind given how terrible the NRL halves stocks are.
The rorters are going back to paying jrs from other clubs extreme overs and praying they come good. They won a spoon with that method when they attempted it with Niko, so let's hope we get a repeat.
To be honest, that's what the Roosters are doing right now, they have like half a dozen of them.
Do they even have scouts? It seems like they buy on hype. Robbo and Nick are delusional and think they're the Man United of the NRL, so if they have that mentality they will just be buying whichever hyped/ big name they can and ruining their team balance
